Rody was so focused on running and planning the escape route in his head that the sudden speaking caused him to trip. He didn't fall but- "Why are you following me?" He spoke up in confusion, glancing over at the taller woman.
"If you must know, I'm in the middle of doing my job! Not much time for chit chat, sorry." At that moment, Pino flew a few feet in front of the woman's face, chirping loudly to distract her or cause her to stop.
Having someone on his trail like this is risky for his type of occupation.

Looked like those two were in a hurry or were running from something, either way it had caught Serena’s interest. When something caught her interest naturally she would want to investigate it to see what was going on there, turning back to see if anyone was following them before seeing if anyone was looking at her. Thankfully nobody was so just to be a little safe the girl flickered her wrist and made a cloud of smoke appear behind her before giving chase to the brunette and his feathered friend. If someone was following then it may take a second to get through the smoke if they were looking but by then they would be long gone so it works out! Maybe she would even make her first friend here so Serena caught up to them with curious eyes. “So what’s got your feathers all ruffled to be in such a hurry?”
Rody shook his head, looking down as he continued the task at hand. He really couldn't blame her; he should have been spacing out anywhere but her direction.
Even if he wasn't making eye contact, he was listening to her, taking in what she was saying. "Well, to be fair, you do look younger than you actually are." Rody could at least guess the minimum age she was since she was sitting at the bar. "But looks are just looks. You have the presence of an adult that means business. And at least you'll still look good in your golden years. Not everybody gets that chance."
@rody-soul cont from X
“More like you’re staring off into space in my general direction.” She thought maybe he recognized her, but perhaps she was mistaken and in that case she’d rather let it be. “I’m flattered that you’re staring, but I think you’re a bit young for me.”
“Just pulling your leg, bud. I promise I’m well-hydrated and I’m doing.. okay in the sleep department.”
@rody-soul
“You can’t tell me what to do.”
“i might not be able to make you sleep or drink water, but it does beg the question on how you’re doing.”
this took a while but finally finished the color wheel challenge i did on twitter :D it was so much fun !!!

Must've been pretty nice getting a nice view of Izuku when bandaging him up huh? I think you do want to give him a little smooch you just won't admit it!
Cue Rody squinting at the Anon. How did they know he bandaged him up?
"Ah, yes, of course I got a nice view. A real nice view of the injury that was my fault. Nothing more romantic than feeling guilty." He knew what they actually meant, muscles and all, which was expected for a hero-in-training. But all Rody’s mind went to were the scars Deku had.
And the possible new one that Rody had caused.
Rody was very proud of himself whenever he got Izuku to blush profusely. It was easy to accomplish, but still, he liked being the reason for it.
"Hm," he hummed happily after Deku gave his reasoning for the gifts, shooting him a warm smile. "Very thoughtful of you, hero. These will definitely come in handy, thanks again."
Pino immediately warmed up to his hand, pressing into it. What a sucker for affection...
With that cue, Rody set his gifts down, rummaging around in Pino's gift bag. He could hear the bells ringing before he even got hold of the item and immediately recalled what it was.
"Geez, you really are thoughtful." He pulled out the perch in a swift and playful motion, holding it out towards Pino to show it off.
"Look what he got you, girl!" He gave it a shake.
Pino cooed in delight at the sight of the familiar perch, quickly flying over to land on it. She, of course, had to bounce up and down in celebration of the gift, letting the ringing of the bells echo out around them. Looks like she loved it.
continued from here.
Izuku predictably flushed a deep shade of red when Pino began pecking his cheek. Now that they were dating, Izuku knew that Pino being affectionate was now an extension of Rody doing the same thing. His heart still leapt whenever Rody said his first name. He couldn’t keep the smile off of his face even if he tried.
Geez, he really had it bad for Rody, didn’t he?
“Ah, y-yeah!” he stammered. “I know how much you wanna become a pilot so I thought you’d like practical things that pilots need to have.” He beamed. “I’m glad you like them!”
He reached up his hand to pet Pino on the head. “You should show Pino what I got her!” he added with a soft laugh. The other gift bag contained the same rainbow colored bird perch they saw at the mall together. It had bells dangling off of the bottom of it. He remembered Pino enjoying the display version of the perch and and went back to the same store to purchase it.

vsagis:
The villain’s eyes follow the server as he walks away, an eyebrow raised in the only acknowledgment of the other’s comment.
Maybe he played it just a little stupid (and tremendously dangerous), but Izuku, while accepting said fact, doesn’t really consider himself dense. It’s all going to pay off one way or the other, either by finding out at least some of the answers to his questions, or bringing attention to him. He can use both.
As he bides the time for the other boy’s return, Izuku slowly scans the other patrons’ appearances. Nothing out of ordinary for this kind of place, and nothing his eyes would rest upon for longer than just a moment. Oh well.
Once the server returns, Izuku welcomes him with another smile; a bit different than the one he gave him before. “So,” he begins, “How about you answer my question, and I answer yours in return?” Sounds shady, but then he follows with a quite innocent inquiry: “Why do you think I came here?”
Coming back with the fries, Rody set them down in front of his current patron of interest. The pink bird stayed in her place by the bar.
Hearing the other start, Rody knew something was up. Well, he knew something was up since the guy walked in. He squints a bit, raising an eyebrow at the inquiry. It doesn't hurt to entertain him. "Sure." Rody smiled leaning against the booth, getting 'comfortable.' He thought maybe the question would be straight to the point, and Rody would finally have a clear answer to why he was here. With that expectation, the actual question caught him off-guard for a moment.
But he liked it.
The brunette hummed with a smile. "People come here for lots of different reasons. To generalize, they come here looking for jobs and information. To meet with others they plan to work with." There was a pause as Rody looked him over. "Seeing that you asked me a question like that, I don't think you're here for any jobs. I think you're already on the job, looking for something."
He leaned in a bit from his side of the booth. "Now, should I ask the obvious question and hope you answer me honestly?" He rhetorically asked before asking his real question. "What's your real reason for coming here? I think being honest is in your best interest if you want what you're looking for. But that's just your server speaking."
Rody was basically curling in on himself with guilt. The other wasn’t even... questioning him... He trusted him that much? Damn it. Pino noticeably drooped like a withering plant. His heart felt like it was being yanked this way and that as he listened to the blonde talk about his own family.
“I’m sure your family knew right away that you were innocent.” He glanced back at the phonebooth, gray eyes searching for blue. “I understand needing to hear a loved one’s voice in a situation like this. My little sister and brother are waiting for me back at home. Just hearing their voices would ease my worries.” If only they had a phone back at their trailer. He would have called them over the cops.
Rody looked up at the boy in front of him, biting his bottom lip in nervousness. “You’re right.” He stood up, case in hand, looking towards the sound of the helicopter. It was getting closer. “There’s some tall grass around here. Maybe we can lay down and they won’t notice.” The phonebooth could have also sufficed, but Rody knew he would have to wave the helicopter down and didn’t want his accomplice in plain sight in a glass box.
Rody was the one who called the cops. He didn’t want the other involved in what could possibly go down.
He gestured to a tall patch of grass farther away from where they currently stood. “Go hide over there. I’ll go over here.” He vaguely gestured in the opposite direction, starting to walk to his hiding area.
@rody-soul plotted out a starter!
Tired... Neito was just so tired.
It all started late last night. After being flown to the small nation of Otheon with the troublemaking students of Class 1-A, Neito already knew that somehow things were going to go wrong. It all started with a bank robbery that the other students instantly rushed into. Honestly, Neito almost let them handle it to finish their required task. After all, bringing back food and supplies back to the base was actually important, no matter how much Bakugou moaned and complained over it.
Before Neito could stop himself, he found himself running towards the situation. Neito and Izuku left the two attacking robbers to Todoroki and Bakugou, while they both persued the running man with a briefcase. While Izuku was brash, running directly for the escaping man, Neito instead watched him with careful eyes. With a bit of street savviness, Neito slipped into a leaving train. Thankfully, just a few minutes later, so did their suspect. Neito could see Midoriya in the distance, but before he could start running towards the train, a rather irritated looking train conductor quickly yanked him off the train tracks. Before Midoriya could pursue them, the train was long gone.
Watching the brown haired suspect take a sigh of relief, Neito couldn’t help but laugh, waving his hand towards the other, “I suppose you think you got away? I wouldn't get so comfortable if I were you.”
Wow.... that all felt so recent. Blinking his tired eyes, Neito quickly remembered everything else- the briefcase being empty of any sort of treasure and just filled with important paperwork. Being chased by the police, using Todoroki’s quirk to escape while keeping everyone safe in the process. After jumping into the water, Neito quickly ditched his phone and began walking. Quickly, the quirks that were once filled in his body were gone. Leaving the blond basically quirkless and defenseless.
That’s what led to him and the other male now trying to sleep in a barn. Neito wasn’t sure how the bird in front of him could keep up with them all day- the blond was sure he didn’t see the creature eat or drink. However, Neito didn’t have the energy to ponder that aloud. Instead, with a single hand on the briefcase, Neito fell into in a deep sleep. After all, he was just so exhausted.
Eh, I'll figure this out later. Rody Soul RP Blog !!WHM spoilers!!
