k. so. some edits with miyamura from horimiya randomly popped up in my youtube shorts, and i remembered my times of reading horimiya, finding miyamura cute but hot at the same time (i was 15, okay??) and i just randomly thought abt this one idea

so. reader once stumbles into a bakery of miyamura's family (i actually don't remember if miyamura's family had a bakery/cafe in canon, i read that like 6 (or more) years ago, but various fanfictions and little stories here on tumblr keep mentioning it, so i thought why not.) and just keeps staring at miyamura and then goes smth like "are u a cake? cause i want a piece of that" or some other weird pick up line. and then they realize what they said, miyamura realizes too, and they just stare at each other blushing super hard. and reader then apologies for being weird and tells miyamura they found him looking really sweet and cool and the same time, kinda like a bad boy outside, good boy inside all that stuff

so they end up getting some stuff, and they love it, and they keep coming back and eventually even start working at that bakery too

so reader has a huge crush on miyamura, but also is very self-conscious, doesn't think themselves worthy etc

but at the same time they have some kinda cute little bonding moments with miyamura

reader studies at a different school, so they actually don't see miyamura outside their hours in coffee shop, but they kinda become close friends

they help him with homework, they bake tasty things together, feed stray animals (reader even took some of really injured once to vet and then to their home where they live still and miyamura visits quite often)

so like he doesn't feel shy with reader as they've already spent some time together

but. then the canonical events start happening and miyamura starts feeling confused.

like he likes Hori-san, she is pretty, caring, hard-working and kind, but reader is just the same and he doesn't understand what type of affection he feels towards Hori and reader

so one is obviously romantic, and the other one friendly/platonic

but being friends with reader for so long, miyamura thinks he likes Hori romantically, and they start going out and all that stuff

reader stops working at a cafe and kinda avoid miyamura at all costs at all times, because they hurt. like, they respond to their messages with smth like "sorry, i don't feel good" or "sorry, got ill", or smth else amd always wishes him to have a good time with Hori

so the reader isn't like popular at all, they are just a grey mouse, so they think they are no match for Hori-san and try to feel happy for their friend (love) but they obviously are hurting.

so they try to kind of run away. they turn off their phone for a while and ask their parents to go to their grandparents in the village somewhere (I'll do my research, just not now lol)

their parents don't like the idea, plus you can get in trouble for skipping school, but they find some way to do that, because they knew reader really liked miyamura and they didn't like seeing their kid hurting.

so once the reader stops responding, miyamura starts to worry and he also kinda realizes that his feeling for Hori were platonic, because he misses reader not just as a friend

so the clothest weekend he goes to reader's grandparents and confesses, explaining that all that was new for him. having friends (reader had their friend group at their school, but they still were Introverted and felt better with miyamura than in the big group of people; but miyamura before canon didn'thave any friends except reader), first love, and they were confused, but they finally understand what their bond with reader means to him

reader confesses liking (loving? having a crush on him?) since they saw him for the first time (also they've seen miyamura in his school attire and think he looks cute)

but well. they finally confess to each other, bla-bla-bla, happy ending for miyamura and reader (maybe I'll be able to think of a happy ending for Hori as well (not necessarily giving her a bf/gf tho)

but well, yeah, happy ending for everyone

rindou pretends he doesn’t like it when you kiss on his tattoos but in reality, he loves it. especially his bonten tattoo on his neck. he loves it when you leave your love marks on it and he grumbles about it later.

Same shit every day for years

Tonight russia attacked the historic center of Odesa with ballistic missiles (again). Damaged museums, philharmonic, people’s houses. Bristol Hotel suffered the most damage. Architectural monument, built over 125 years ago, survived WWII, but not “great russian culture”. The historical site of Odesa is protected by UNESCO (as if it means something).

russia gradually destroys beautiful European city i love so much. That’s the only thing barbarians are capable of: destruction.

russia bombs Ukrainian cities daily. It targets civilians, critical infrastructure, churches and historic landmarks.

PS: There were so many explosions, my cats are horrified; every time i tried to feed them, there was another strike. One of my cats threw up because of stress.

Do you know how much time we have to get to safety during ballistic attack? 2-3 minutes (not that there were safe places to begin with: for example, in today’s attack a woman was injured while hiding in a bomb shelter).

Idk why I’m writing this, no one gives a fuck anyway.

I know this probably everywhere but he's really protective of you. If you two were together during the Toman and Tenjiku drama he'd make sure to keep you close and keep on eye on you. Even when he's fighting with Ran he makes sure to periodically look your way and if he can't see you he'll make sure to end his fight fast so he can find you.

He knows your strong but he still worry's

Would take you anywhere at anytime. You suddenly had a craving for ice cream you better believe he's getting for you

If you are walking with him and some creepy person is coming towards you both he'll grab your hand and puts you behind him and once you pass the person he'll make sure your in front of him safe and sound. But if your with Ran and a situation like that happens he just sandwiches you between himself and Ran.

Before kissing you he pulls you close to him and does the thing where he looks at your eyes then your lips before kissing you

Refuses to be tiny spoon when cuddling regardless if your taller then him he just wants to feel more dominant

Sometimes gets insecure and thinks you'll leave him for Ran. Cuddle him and reassure him you love him and he'll feel better

Absolutely loves winning you prize's at festivals. No like seriously Ran is squished in the back seat of the car from all the plushes he won for you. He's even so kind as to let you have then on the bed.

He brings you lavender roses whenever he has the chance. You have a vase in the living room for them. He might even deliver them with a little teddy bear to your work with a letter stating how much he loves you.

Has a get away house for you and him whenever you two just want to be alone.

Takes you out to eat every Friday. Mostly because Rindou feels like he's always doing something for Bonten and never home. He wants to make sure you know he loves you.

For valentines Rindou always gets you a bear with the year on it. You have one from every year you've been together.

you accidentally hit your arm against a table but paid it no mind. “what harm could it cause?” you thought. a few days later, you see a huge purple bruise forming and you begin panicking as you know how he would react. when he walked into the room one day, you quickly hid your arm behind your back, but you weren’t fast enough.

confused.

wouldn't know what to do besides bombard you with questions and comforting words

"are you okay? are you hurt? i'm here now, don't worry love!"

would hug you close to him, as if protecting you from the world

"please let me know next time, i don't want to be excluded from the things that happen to you. i want to protect you."

after a few seconds of silence,

"that's it. i'm childproofing the whole house."

when you tell him you aren't a child, "you seem way too similar to one. you need to be safe and protected at all times." and nods to himself, satisfied with his answer

he'd calmly ask you what happened and question if you were getting bullied at school

will go momma bear if he finds out someone is bullying you

no one is, so he remains calm

would softly ask, "tell me what happened, how did you get hurt?"

when you tell him what happened, he'd scold you for being clumsy

but he'd comfort you and hug you

he'd playfully hit a table close by and scold it for hurting you just to make you smile and laugh

if it works on his two younger sisters, it'd work on you. and it did

a few days later is when he'll bring it up and laugh about it again

"it's a bruise, rindou. it forms when blood from the ruptured capillaries leak out under your skin and stays trapped in one spot."

would stare at you, unamused. "ok, smart alec. even i know that. i mean, how did you get it? you hit yourself against the table again, didn't you?"

to which you would shrug and explain it isn't your fault, it was an accident

he'd walk to the freezer to grab and ice pack for you, helping you ice the bruise

after a few minutes of silence, he'd start to laugh, shaking his head in amusement

you stare at him as if he's grown two heads, "i still can't believe you hurt yourself. again. you're so CLUMSY"

you flick his forehead exasperated, "listen here, you jellyfish- i knew i shouldn't have told you what happened."

Sano Manjiro 'Mikey' :

Receiving : Forehead kisses.

kisses from Mikey from this timeline are rare. He is afraid of getting attached. Or if you knew him since childhood, he is afraid of hurting you, like Takemitchi told him, about what he did in another timeline.

But when he is feeling really sad, and melancholic, he just wants to feel your arms wrapping over him, a comfort from the mess he calls life.

And when you gently kiss his forehead, he feels as if, as cliché as it sounds, all his worries disappear.

He wants to live in that moment and die in the same moment.

Giving : Cheek kisses

He is not too interested in intimacy (personal hc, if you disagree its fine ngl) so most of his kisses are on your cheek.

These kisses mostly happens when both of you are busy or if only he is busy and he walks by you. Just a kiss on your cheek and he leaves.

It's a bit sad. Because he is not always going to be there. But it is assuring as he won't ever leave until he tells you.

And as he kisses you, he knows you are there. Breathing. Alive. And with him.

Akashi 'Sanzu' Haruchiyo :

It's gentle. Tender, filled with affection. Like you. Every time you are with him.

He mostly loves it when you are both going to sleep, and it is perfect for him.

He truly won't have it any other way.

It's comfortable to him, like being in a pile of blankets, and soft instrumental music is playing in the background.

Giving : Hand kisses

He mostly loves it because he has seen these types of kisses on the television.

He has seen actors being all happy over those kisses, even if he knew it was acting. He just wanted to see your reaction to it. That's all.

And no you did not disappoint. He loves how you smile over this little gesture.

And you feel happy every time he does it. Your lips tug upwards on their own. Your cheeks ache from smiling. But it makes you happy.
