Assuming you’re starting from not doing any of that, you should start seeing changes almost immediately. In the first couple of weeks, especially if you can maintain your calorie deficit and remain consistent.
Eventually, after a month or two the changes will slow down. You’ll have to start working harder, and cut more calories to adjust for the lost weight and your body learning to burn energy more efficiently.
Realistically, you should come up with a goal. Whether that’s a number on the scale, a body fat percentage, or a feat of fitness, and model your activities to achieve that goal.
Start with small changes that are more maintainable. This makes progress slower, but makes it easier to stick to.
If you can, find someone to do this with. It helps with encouragement and accountability.

i know it’s not really possible to tell just based off of a picture, and everybody is different, but if you had to guess, how long roughly do you think it would take for my body to change significantly and look much slimmer if i consistently:
exercise, mainly HIIT workouts and weight lifting
eat eggs/oatmeal for breakfast, chicken for lunch, and salmon for dinner
walk for at least an hour or 2 (i also wanna get into running)
swim once a week
i’m not trying to rush the process, i know i need to be patient, i’d just like to know if this is a decent plan (if there’s anything you would add or change, i’d really appreciate the feedback!) and roughly how long it’ll take to see a big difference if i stick with it.
3 or 4 months? more?
