EARTHSPARK SPOILERS EYYYYY
I dunno why but like I'm so interested and a bit bugged out by episode 16 "Warzone",
I don't mean in a bad way but PLEASE HEAR ME OUT.
The flashback with the fight on the spacebridge felt like a bit lackluster to me. There are only so few bots and cons there that are fighting and those bots are the ones we have already seen on screen. I'm pretty sure there might be more to the story than meets the eye. If it's also because of budget then I guess it's fine as well.
Second the thing about Thrash saying stuff like how they are going to clean up the mess that Megatron and the others have done and the pressure of it,
I really love that though I wish they explore a bit more. I would like to see more of them hating to be put in a position like that. Additionally, it reminded me a bit of Steven Universe and her relationship with Rose Quartz/Pink Diamond.
Then there's Megatron calling Shockwave old friend👀👀👀. I am now very curious about their past or backstory. Like did he just call him old friend because they fought alongside each other for a long time or they were close friends before the war.
He sounded so sad when he said 'I am sorry old friend.'
Then this...
Hey, wait a minute...
This scene wasn't there on the first flashback. 🤔🤔🤔
At the start of the episode there is a flashback of the battle then a second flashback now being narrated by Megatron minutes later after the first flashback. Everything is the same but now with added scenes of Shockwave and that scene of Starscream jumping to get the Allspark into the spacebridge. Like they can't just put it there without being important to the overarching plot.
I dunno it just feels so suspicious to me. But maybe I'm wrong.
Also Shockwave seeing the memories of Thrash with being happy with his family is just like "Eww, LoWEr CLasS bEIngS😖😑" is just so funny to me. Like he's being an emo HAHAAHAH. That's not very logical of you Shockwave.
Overall I like it. I dunno why it felt lacking to me but I still like it. It's just that it feels like it has lose ends in the story but like I said maybe it's important in the later overarching plot.
Sooooo I was just watching X-Men 97 and like I immediately latched onto Gambit. Sure, Nightcrawler has been my absolute fav since childhood but I thought he's gonna be a side character( and secretly wishing he'll be part of the main cast.
And then the episode happened.
When the Gambit sacrificed himself, I thought he'd live.
And then the damn intro happened and Gambit's gone and replaced by Nightcrawler.
Like holy shit, Nightcrawler is finally there... At the fucking cost that I lose my other favorite there.
Marvel please, I know your track record in the comics, you love to kill all the characters and suddenly bring them back.
Please, I'm begging you. I'm not getting any more content of Remi if he's just DEAD.
Some weird idea about Dimension traveling Miguel and a time-traveling reader.
I'm not sure whether I should make the reader or time-traveler exist in the same dimension as Miguel or not.
If Time-traveler does exist in the same dimension as Miguel then I plan for them to feel like they doesn't belong there or just some person out of time who wishes to visit the 2000s or older. It doesn't help since in the year 2099, while space travel(the train to the moon) and technology is so advanced but I think the future would have animals, some places or landmarks, and parts of nature that are already gone.(Just a bunch of world building in general)
The reader probably grew up just seeing and reading all of those on the internet or books. Thus the reason for time-traveling.
In addition, Time-traveler is either trying to escape their dull life or really has nothing tying them down in 2099 so the desperation for time-traveling is stronger.
And they succeed.
Enter Miguel.
Miguel suddenly gets pop ups of an anomaly who disappears and reappears all of sudden on his radar and can't quite catch them for some reason. He thought it was some villain but he slowly starts to bump into this strange person who keeps seeing from where his radar appears that says an anomaly is.
Time-traveler could have this one signature style like a green ribbon that Miguel could always spot.
The more Miguel and Time-traveler interact, the more Miguel feels like he's okay with this anomaly on the loose...
Until Time-traveler starts messing up with world tragedy events like Time-traveler trying to save an endangered species that would likely be extinct in the year 2099 then Miguel starts trying to capture them in a more serious and aggressive manner.
Then they fight and quarrel.
Just two idiots taking up the mantel of saving everyone and everything in a way they see fit.
"Traveler."
"Okay, just hear me out-"
"You can't just decide what's the next big thing you are going to save so you can play martyr in the future."
"I'm not being a martyr! I'm just saving this animal from extinction so that the people in our timeline could see this majestic beast in person rather than in a book like I did."
"And what... Majestic beast is it this time, hmmm?"
Miguel could hear a pigeon coo as Time-traveler desperately tries to hide a pigeon inside their shoulder bag.
Miguel is not impressed.
Time-traveler would probably end up being an actual anomaly (ie the one that actually causes damage to everything like the dimension collapsing thing)
That's pretty much all I got. I got no writing skills to pull this off.
I dunno why but when I saw this scene,
My mind immediately thought of this.
I think it's the cardboard paper falling that makes me jump to this conclusion.
Every single time I see a Fantasy! AU of Miguel O'hara it's always a royalty! or knight!miguel x royalty! or commoner!reader and I am soooo disappointed I haven't seen a witch!reader.
I MEAN, COME ONNNNN
Knight!Miguel being your usual knight who follows the rules and hunts witches, warlocks, and demons because most of them cause mayhem.
Meanwhile witch!reader is not your typical witch since she doesn't really do catastrophic damage, only really does hexes or curses(it's not that bad actually) most of them can be considered as pranks and the townspeople, that live near witch!reader's cottage, can only get annoyed or find it hilarious and sometimes even paying her to hex someone or get a curse off of them. And reader is actually sweet but strange(?), she brews healing potions or using her magic to help the townspeople and in return the townspeople help the reader hide the fact that she's a witch from the knights who did a monthly checking of the kingdom's towns.
Knight!Miguel who, one day, was injured from fighting a dangerous warlock and found the cozy cottage of witch!reader.
Reader helps knight!Miguel despite the risk of getting exposed that she's a witch.
Knight!Miguel who went against the rules and didn't report witch!reader and would do a monthly or(twice a month?) checking to see if she doesn't make anything malicious.
Knight!Miguel realizing there are actually good witches and warlocks since doing magic and not being registered or officially as a magic user or sorcerers.
(I dunno what I'm doing. I guess witches are just wild and untamed not being affiliated with kingdoms and their rules. I thought it would be in line with the movie since being a witch can equate as an anomaly...so reader can be like an anomaly which I also likeee)
Knight!Miguel who is conflicted as he slowly falls for witch!reader and he's a mess.
Same. I tried looking online for pirated ones but it's still too early for that...so does have anyone have a download that they can share.
Does anyone know where I can watch EarthSpark for free? I’ve been trying to find it all day
Same vibes
I binge watched the episodes. I need more.
Okay I kept seeing people point out in Earthspark where Bumblebee making a joke about Soundwave being energon deprived and accidentally makes a cassette explode inside of him and they are just shocked that it's either so out of character or its dark humor is somewhat bad.
I get it but I think it's understandable why he would act this way. Bee is very likely born in the middle of the war and we all know that raising a kid in a damn war is not a good place for them. They are forced to be able to fight, adapt and mature immediately because their lives depend on it, not every time an older bot is around to help them. But the bots likely try their best to have a nice environment for them(especially that it was Optimus who mentored Bumblebee).
This would have an effect on them and one of them is they are likely to be more alert, serious, have problems socializing and maybe form a different kind of personality like, I dunno, dark humor perhaps.
In episode 3 when they are playing charades Bee said it was an 'injured deception' How do you proceed in this situation?' when clearly it was a chicken. It's obvious that he is using game night as a way to teach or train the Terrans or get closer to them(and I face-plamed at some of those scenes but still laughing) and we can see how that went through.
But what if Bee only acted this way because, again his entire life is focused in the war, he is under pressure. The Bots need to teach and prepare him for everything and now that there's no war it's hard for them to adjust just like Megatron said that 'the war is clearly over for everyone'.
That line hit me so hard.
Because it does not only apply to the Decepticons who willingly refuse to surrender but to everyone because it's not easy to just adjust in a new and more relaxed life when the entirety of your life is about fighting for your life and taking risks.
Not to mention the possible scars you've got along the way whether it's physical, mental or emotional scars. The habits and mindsets formed to survive in their war.
It's impossible for them to just, I dunno, settle down or throw that away.
I doubt that Bee is the only one affected by this.
In short
.
.
.
The war just screwed them all up.
Also we aren't even sure if the cassetticon lived or not. All it said was that it exploded when Soundwave tried to eject it. I know it must damn hurt (hungry and wounded that hurts💔) but who knows maybe they lived and Bee just didn't get the chance to finish his story because it's the wrong the time to tell that joke infront of kids too who are worried for Twitch and Thrash whom are likely energon deprived.
He probably tries to lighten the mood with some humor but we know he failed.
That's all I got and I think I might got some of it wrong but I can't remember. Feel free to correct me.
Edit: I forgot to put some things here like the assumed cassette who exploded is Rumble and like how some cope by making humor and such because I'm not good at English so thanks for the ones who commented in this.
