She did not want to move, or to speak. She wanted to rest, to lean, to dream. She felt very tired.

QUEEN CHARLOTTE & KING GEORGE
kinda can’t stop thinking bout mileven and their kids
like how their oldest would be the softest little munchkin of all time, and he’d wait around by the door for mike or el to get home so they’d call him “puppy” and how he has the cutest lil laugh, and he loves reading books so much
how their middle kid is this wild bean who jumps on beds and insists on playing hide and go seek all the time, he has so much energy, but then he’ll get all sleepy and cuddly and he’ll koala around mike and mike’ll be like “tired, cub?” and he just nods and his curls flop around and 😍
how their youngest kid is like the smartest sassiest girl to ever walk the earth, she loves her parents and siblings so much and she’s always hanging off of one of them, she’ll do the thing where she makes mike hold out a finger so she can twirl, she loves ballet, and she’s just the cutest little blonde bean around (they call her “bambi” shoot me pls)
like during thunder storms these beans run into mike and el’s room and curl up with them in the bed, just crawling all over them
and WOW mike wheeler loves his kids so much he’s always giving them cuddles and little kisses and they’ll be like “you have a dimple!” and touch his, and he’s like “so do you!” and he’ll give their dimple a lil kiss, or he’ll kiss their nose or their forehead and he just has such heart eyes for these bbys
their powers are so cool. the oldest, theodore, has like empathic powers; he can project feelings and thoughts and all that. he’ll put his lil chubby hands on their cheeks and make them feel happiness or love or whatever and it’s just so Softe
james pretty much inherited el’s powers minus the telepathy, but he’s such a mischievous little shit he pretty much uses them exclusively to annoy people. he’ll levitate mike’s keys over his head when he’s looking for them or levitate HIMSELF and mike is like “oh my god get down” and jamie’s like “lol no way”
sarah is a super genius and she’s really insecure about not having any tangible powers, but by six she’s in like fourth grade it’s insane she’s so smart, she learns French in like a week. one day she’s bullied and called a freak and she comes home crying and mike curls up in bed with her and he’s like “listen you’re so smart and you’re gonna go so far and I don’t care if you’re a plumber i’ll be proud of you” and wow how cute
and el literally like, cannot stop poking her kids tummies and peppering their cheeks with kisses. sometimes after long days she’ll just kinda collapse on the couch and oh here comes a lil cuteball, curling up with her and poking her cheek all “hi i missed you” and she’s like “i missed you too” and skdhdjjdfn
giving them baths is a nightmare because there’s sarah with her hair in a soap horn and jamie’s making water bubbles and theo’s like The Most Innocent, just giggling and playing with his rubber duckies kill me it’s so soft
they’re just the softest little family i’m dyin call 911

If you want to be happy, you have to be happy on purpose. When you wake up, you can’t just wait to see what kind of day you’ll have. You have to decide what kind of day you’ll have.

Everybody has a secret world inside of them. All of the people of the world, I mean everybody. No matter how dull and boring they are on the outside, inside them they’ve all got unimaginable, magnificent, wonderful, stupid, amazing worlds. Not just one world. Hundreds of them. Thousands maybe.

This week I’ve been reading a lot and doing little work. That’s the way things ought to be. That’s surely the road to success.
