Finally, we can show off the totally edgy Nori cosplay! Kiri really did go ham with drawing on the glasses. Planning to show off Khan and Nori at Kadabracon as well as 2 other cosplays we're still working on, so hopefully we finish those by the end of the month!
Some of our silly photos from day 2 as Khan and Nori! Very Glad so many people recognized us and wanted pictures! The cosplay contest today was awesome!
Also got Michael Kovach and Sean Chiplock to sign my door today as N and Thad!
Finally got our ID's for kadabracon finished! These were so fun to make and gonna be even more fun to show off in cosplay! We'll be trying to post more art after the con but hope you enjoy all the sillies we post for now!
Awesome time getting to meet Lizzie Freeman and Alex Rochon, the Va's for Caine and Pomni! They seemed to like my dirty bootleg cosplay! Even got to give them a whole pound of gummy gators.
We're back boys! Another day another Epithet Erased cosplay
After 2 years I decided to remake my yoomtah cosplay! This outfit took a little over 4 month and 140 hours of work.
I had some fun with this outfit, as always I wanted to make it different. This time I wanted to make it so it could change colors and glow, so I had some fun with uv glow and LEDs. I soldered LEDs into the cheeks, wig, belt, back of the neck, and boots. To get the trim to glow I used neon wig weft, a florescent protein dye, and painted details with uv glow paint.
I also had fun adding details that are only visible in black light, including on the back of the suit. I wanted to add in some cuttlefish like elements so I added yoomtahs cheek marks onto her back as well.
I had a lot of fun adding in details, for instance using devore on the black strips to chemically burn designs into them. I also had fun hand embroidering the collar
The collar does glow
Something that was really important to me when making this outfit was making the cybernetic arms and legs. Using Eva foam, foam clay, and fabric I was able to make arms and legs that looked metallic while staying mobile
I also made the buttons for the suit from scratch using a type of glassblowing called lampworking. I've used lampworking in some other outfits, notably naven
Anyways thank you so much for reading!
The worst Halloween gang! The crew in our worst outfits possible! Attended one haunted gamestore and a spice shop! Happy fricken Halloween.
Ignore us spending over 2 months working on cosplay for us to do this for Halloween
Finally finished my Khan cosplay right before the last episode of murder drones dropped! Had alot of fun putting it together, but damn does it get hot fast. Also painted a Minecraft door for the meme as well as just to have a weildable prop to swing around! Definitely gonna have some fun with this costume at conventions.
Some of our photos at Kadabracon as Caine and Gangle! An absolute blast getting to do the watchparty for episode 3, give Alex some gummies, give Sean a whole bug collection, and hand out so many cursed Jax splats!
Also very glad so many of the show's VA's could tell we based our gangle off of Queen's design from the fan game!
More of the sillier pictures we took. Can't wait to harass other cosplayers as goofy parents at every convention. Love #6+7 cuz it just looks like Nori going through an existential crisis.
I've been playing around with my glasses for the Khan Cosplay and had a pleasant time drawing error messages on it. Actually very impressed with how the bluescreen turned out. Comment any ideas for any more dumb stuff to do with the screen face!
Out and about in our Caine and gangle cosplays yesterday giving out loads of buttons at a small local convention. Met loads of cool people and saw some really good art!
