Yo I feel like the idea that the only historical women who counted are the ones who defied society and took on the traditionally male roles is… not actually that feminist. It IS important that women throughout history were warriors and strategists and politicians and businesswomen, but so many of us were “lowly” weavers and bakers and wives and mothers and I feel like dismissing THOSE roles dismisses so many of our mothers and grandmothers and great-grandmothers and the shit they did to support our civilization with so little thanks or recognition.

Haven’t even left Leeds yet and I’m already feeling homesick x

it’s come to my attention that there are people trying to find joseph’s address. ya’ll, FUCKING STOP! that’s NOT okay! first of all, he’s just a person! & 2nd of all, he’s clearly a very private person! you guys doing this makes the rest of the community look bad. it’s gross & sick. you’re not cute & it’s not funny. you’re being selfish & risking his safety! please just STOP!!!

So I fully feel like Chords by The Amazing Devil and Matilda by Harry Styles are two sides of the same coin.

Chords is the parents who cry when they drop you off at uni

Matilda is the parents who don’t really notice that you’re gone

Maybe I’m interpreting Chords wrong, or projecting, but it always felt like the aftermath of a kid going to uni
