Chief the Chansey, with his little Oddish passenger (they are inseparable… we’ve tried) are the clients!

Background: Chief was a medic in the pokewars of yore and belonged to my grandpa. He’s in my care now as my grandpa isn’t able to care for him. He’s not distrustful of humans really, more so he sees them all as in his care and can’t seem to submit himself to their care. He’s been pretty isolated and is mourning my grandmother and the loss of company of my grandpa/ loss of caretaking for him since he is in my families care now.

He tends to be isolated and repeat the same routine daily, including housekeeping and care tasks for … anyone? No one in particular? Making poultices and bandages and preparing cups for medication and the like.

We’ve been trying to encourage him and his little oddish pal to do other things- they both enjoyed gardening with my grandpa in the past, or fishing… but it’s really just the same caretaking routine every day.

He’s also reluctant to eat or drink much? He has a little chansey mobile he drives around with, but that’s about all he does for fun. Otherwise he just kind of sits on the couch and… waits.

Hi! Random Pokémon fun fact person here! I would love to give your dear Pippy a fun fact about her species! When talking about Chansey, many people just focus on her egg. I dislike that. So! Did you know that Chansey's hair tentacles are some of the most sensitive and tactile Pokémon body parts? Just gently touching one can give the Chansey the same brain signals and bear hugging or petting it. They are also able to sense emotions at a base level from up to 3 kilometers away and, when touching one, lets the Chansey FEEL those emotions at several times the intensity. Honestly, it makes sense why they're so reclusive with feelers like that.

This does make a particular habit of Pippi’s a little confusing to me though. She likes to head butt me? That being said, it makes sense that she wears caps on her feelers when she goes to work now. 🤔

Chief is also missing a few feelers… :(

Hmm, I'm a huge fan of the packbonding tendency that humans have. Small creature? Baby. Big creature? Big baby. Toaster? Baby that go ding when toast. Everything and anything can and will be adopted by a human, and it brings me incredible amounts of joy.

As a human (I know, boring right?) I have personally packbonded with two roombas, a hat, and a 3/4 inch metal ball bearing. And I'm not sorry about it. I'm sure there's worse but those are the 3 wierd ones that come to mind.

A pelipper mail package. It's certainly rain-damaged, it seems like something went wrong during delivery.

Inside are two pots with... eggs? In them. Both are mostly buried within decently sized terracotta pots. They are remarkably undamaged. Seems as though they were packaged with care.

A Note is Attached. A lot of the text is illegible.

The bottom chunk of the note is entirely illegible. There are more lines, but it seems they got soaked in the water. There is no information to be gleaned as to the origin or intended destination of these eggs.
