D'Anthes is fine as hell, I'd wanna run away with him too.
Forever soft for this đĽşâ¤ď¸

LIKE WHY ARE THERE THOSE SPARKLY BACKGROUNDS EFFECTS FROM TYPICAL SHOUJO ROMANCE SCENES? Oh, because of the flowers around them?
THEN WHY IS THAT LAST PANEL ON THE PAGE FOCUSED JUST ON HIS BACK WHILE HE LOOKS AWAY FROM HER?? WHAT'S THE REASON IF NOT TO DEPICT ROMANTIC UNDERTONES????
It is literally paneling like this that gives me the smallest hope of something, even the TINIEST thing, between them.
Even though they're enemies and even though he is shown to love/ is loyal to Balor.
At the final fight, I want them to at least acknowledge each other as friends, at least.
But with Arian also wondering why she had defended him and told him to run for his own safety, maybe there's something she feels for him? There's so much potential for them, especially for an enemies-to-lovers sorta thing, I'm dying to see more.
Really wanna write about this Heian AU....
Okay, I was studying. But I accidentally came across the premise of a simplistic early Noh drama version of the "Tsuchigumo" story. You might or might not recall that this is the story of the giant spider demon slain in a few Kabuki retellings, including "Kumo no Hyoshimai," which was the basis for the official KnY/Kabuki crossover last year. In that Kabuki crossover, Giyuu played the role of Minamoto no Yorimitsu, aka Minamoto no Raiko, a noble and a warrior (and goodness, that Kabuki makeup was becoming on him, wasn't it?). In this Noh version I stumbled on today, he's not joined by his four legendary Kamaboko warrior cohorts, but instead he is treated by a handmaiden who comes to bring him medicine and comfort him when he is suffering an illness of both body and mind.
The handmaiden's name is "Kochou." Yes, written exactly the same.
So, so get this. Picture it. Heian era times. Giyuu is a warrior. Shinobu is his handmaid. Yes? Yes.
I am currently at both 8 and 9 with Crystal Dragon and Griffian lol
1) The rarepair has some potential shippers and off-hand discussions mentioning it, but zero actual content.
2) The rarepair has some lovely shippers and a decent amount of content. It's all in a language you can't read.
3) The fandom looks to have been friendly and receptive to all kinds of ships, but it is now inactive and you are stuck reading the same dozen rarepair fics, wishing you had been born ten years earlier.
4) Several cool shippers have created content for the rarepair, but all of it unfortunately contains stuff that really squicks you out.
5) One or two talented shippers create stellar content: you oh-so-slowly savour each new creation they post, all the while fearing that it might be the last if they move on to different interests.
6) The fandom is dead. Not a single fic or mention of the rarepair ever existed.
7) The fandom is active, but tiny and very close-knit. None of the fans look to be at all open to even considering the rarepair.
8) The fandom is non-existant. The original content itself is obscure. The rarepair is but an unobtainable dream.
9) The rarepair has content. It is all made by yourself.
That one interview with a vampire picture but make it dominoe
Domi would have CLEARED the Met Gala this year..."Gilded Glamour" has our girl written all over it
I feel this way with both my writing and art lol only when I compare it to any previous writing or artwork I did do I appreciate where I'm currently at
it has been years and this still remains the most meaningful advice i have ever read. every time i'm editing my own writing and getting really fed up with it, i stop bashing my face in and just think about this. "You hate the most valuable thing about your art." my writing is supposed to read like i wrote it! because i did! i should be happy to have my own voice and style! ugh thank you forever to this tweet fr
This blog is dedicated to Crystal Dragon by Yuho Ashibe | I also ship Griffith and Arian (Griffian? idk, still working on it) | I post art on Twt: @iriartdumpster
