Progress! The halo will be done with metallic paint at the end. Man, the iPhone camera flattens the FUCK out of this painting.

Doodled this in between seeing clients.
I’ve been in a weird place with my art lately. Feeling like there’s no point if it doesn’t “do” something, and then doubting the ability of art to “do” anything in the first place.
But it was cool to draw this and think “Man, if 10 year old me knew they’d be able to draw Sailor Moon this well, their head would explode.”
Reblogging my own work because nothing will stop me from being trans and making trans art.
Ecce Homo
18x24, acrylic paint on cardboard, 2024
This painting, one of my figure studies, my comic book "Act Well Your Part" and my two zines, "Slap Your Cheeks For Color" and "Step Out Into Your Short Shorts," will be on display and available for purchase at "Slip Gallery.
Opening reception is March 8th, 6-9pm, and a closing reception will be held on March 30th, 7-9pm.
Two pieces from an unfinished series, circa 2008. Oil on Masonite.
Portraits of Mary-Claire and Danielle, focusing only on their teeth.
I often focus on the alignment of people's teeth and sometimes recognize people more by their teeth than other facial features. Because of this, perfectly straight white teeth seem to bore me and I have a harder time remembering people with nice teeth. I find crooked, chipped, and strange teeth to be endearing and attractive.

I found this blog on imgur as a link when some one posted your comic about Bart and Chris being a couple. I loved it such an interesting idea and a good way to approach those issues. Also I totally ship Bart and Chris now lol
I’m sorry I’m responding to this so late, but thank you!

in case there’s ever been any ambiguity about the themes and focus of my art, Baruch HaShem for hairy trans masc titties.
...maybe (。•̀ᴗ-)✧
I always forget that contour drawing is, like, actually a good warm up.
I’m sorry for ever complaining about your Drawing I and Drawing II classes, Ms. Miller.
30 seconds, 1 min, 2 min.
Are you ever going to make a follow-up to the therapy comic? I'd really like to see how the clients are doing and how the next session went!
Thank you! It means a lot that you enjoyed the comic so much that you’d want to read more!
That being said, I don’t know if I’ll do more with that idea, honestly. It was never intended to be a series. I was inspired by the content of my graduate studies and the idea came to me almost fully-formed, which is a rarity for me when it comes to comics.I feel like I said what I wanted to say with that comic. I mean, maybe if the mood strikes again, I might make more, but I don’t have plans for it.
