bc Jay, my immediate thought was this panther hybrid fic I read once….the most exquisite panther hybrid that men fought and killed each other for(was like mafia gang AU). Jay being mature, ready to settle, sees himself ready for the task of caring for a one of a kind hybrid that he can show off. deeming only a regal feline would be worthy of gracing his side out in public. he also really enjoys the envy written across strangers faces when he takes his hybrid out, all curious as to how he could afford such a rare breed.

Jake(obvs a dog hybrid himself) seeking out a puppy hybrid to spend his time with, because he craves loyalty and devotion. knows that his pup will always be ready and waiting when he gets home. altho I love the idea of him with a cat hybrid who fears him/he eventually wins over too :)

he’s naturally more dominant but knows how to tone that down, easily attracting kitten hybrids who see their owner more as an equal/their own pet. purrs rumbling on his chest make up for all the scratches left over his chest and back. while others may see kitten hybrids as too feisty and resilient, he enjoys the attitude, agreeing with his hybrid that they deserve only the highest of princess treatment.
