finished reading the second pentagram test arc. what a beautiful end to a fantastic arc. i loved getting to know more about richeh! at this point, each of the four girls all have made their personality and desires known which i love! they are all so different and offer something the others don’t have to the story. their differences combined make them stronger together.

we've seen how magic can cause suffering in this arc, but we also know how the young witches have the power to change it or at least make a slight difference. although euini isn't back to normal, there's hope that there is a way to save him. despite how awful magic can be, trusted adults like qifrey & olruggio give them the guidance & care to show the girls the right path.

such a beautiful arc full of character development & story progression, as well as amazing art. it's my favorite arc in wha so far!!

hxh ep 85: “gon, you are light”

this episode was just so heartbreaking but so good. killua loves gon so much. while killua thinks of how unqualified and weak he is, there’s gon being a positive force of energy. and killua doesn’t believe he deserves it. oh my god this scene destroyed me. killua felt so much guilt over what he did even though it was in their best interest AND kite wanted them to go. killua beats himself up over his decision and gon responds with kindness. THIS EPISODE WAS JUST SO WELL DONE AND WELL WRITTEN I CAN NOT GET OVER IT. i watched it last night and i'm STILL thinking about it.

finally reading lovely complex after watching the anime years ago and it’s bringing back all the cozy, giggly feelings i had. shoujos like this are so comforting to me! i love romance so much so this is such a fun read!!! love koizumi and otani so much!!! they’re so silly and fun! koizumi especially is so relatable to me. currently on chapter 10 and i’m feeling so giddy & happy. romance really is the perfect medicine for me. I LOVE LOVELY COMPLEX!!

i finished enies lobby arc!!

nico robin has become a favorite character of mine because of this arc! her backstory was so heartbreaking but so well written. i’m so happy she found a place to call home with friends who love her!!!!

the fights were amazing!! luffy using second & third gear was so cool! i loved seeing zoro using new techniques while fighting, he’s just very fun to watch to me! sanji’s fire leg was amazing also!! nami’s lightning technique was also really fun to watch!

seeing them say goodbye to merry made me so sad but i’m so happy they have a new ship along with a new member!! the crew are back together sailing the ocean and i’m excited to see what’s next!

i love the straw hats so much!! every member has their own role and interests, and sometimes they don't align, but they all want to be together anyway. like zoro doesn't HAVE to be a pirate, sanji can cook anywhere, nami can be anyone's navigator, BUT THEY CHOOSE LUFFY!! each crew member meets luffy at the right time. before they did what they knew best, but after meeting luffy & becoming a crew member, their whole world has changed for the better. robin & nami in particular make me so emotional. they are now free to do what they want! every crew member has the freedom to live their lives on their own terms without judgment. it's so beautiful <3

this panel will always make me so emotional. kageyama tobio smiling proudly as king of the court, surrounded by teammates who believe in him, while his rival is on the other side of the net. from hating the term “king” to proudly owning the title as “the ruler of the court of monsters”. tobio is just so cool. he looks so confident and assured. he was born to be on the world stage as setter. i’m so proud of him.

what i love about kyoru is that even though kyo believes he’s so unlovable, tohru has shown time and time again that she cares for him so deeply. in small acts, in big ones, with her words, tohru will always protect and love kyo no matter what and he will do the same for her.

tohru’s hands covering the physical manifestation of kyo’s trauma represents how she helps him to heal from his emotional issu— [sirens blare as i’m dragged away]
