I made this photograph of Bruce Springsteen in February 46 years ago off of west 26th St. on the Hudson River in #nyc. Over the course of time the landscape has drastically changed. It's now a location used by many to enjoy a break from the daily grind of life. It's reaffirming. it's connecting. it reminds us of our own humanity. It's beauty has increased because it serves people who need to feel like they can breathe again. Over this course of time I think the same has happened with Bruce's concerts. Today at 75, He is providing a space bigger and better for people to come together and celebrate life. Happy birthday Bruce ...may you continue in good health for many years to come to do your work with those you love, spreading the joy of connection. #happybirthday
