"Stay here until I get back, I will only be a couple hours."

That was 10 years ago - 6 years ago he lost hope.

Ranboo was only 6 when his father left, he was only meant to go help with some family issues but never returned.

Little Ran didn't mind in those hours his father left, he played some skyblock - did some parkour. As he played, small ghosts appeared around him and talked to him. They'd have conversations and some of them was even kind enough to vanish some of the meaner ghosts.

It was 4 hours after his father left that he got worried. His ghost friends didn't know who his father was so they couldn't help. He waited and waited for the pop up message to tell him his father joined the server - it never came.

Years pass - ghosts come and go, Ranboo is now 10 years old. Little Ranboo and his green and red jewelled crown. He lost games and won more games. The ghosts helped him figure out how to summon a small blue bird and make posts that would get likes and comments.

He enjoyed life though he missed his father greatly.

He met a friend one day, they met during a skywars lobby. His friend? TapL. Everytime his friend left to do other things Ran would worry that he wouldn't return like his father although he always returned.

TapL told him of a legend from a server that one of his friends was part of, the legend of Technoblade. The name was familiar, very familiar. Maybe it was a name that his father told him, maybe it was his father's name? He couldn't remember. His memory was getting worse as he grew and he was worried that he'd forget everything from his childhood.

Another year passes, he met another friend. He was called Tubbo. They met because his ghost friends kept talking to Tubbo about him. It was funny but he ended up getting blocked twice on Twitter. He met someone else through Tubbo though, her name was Niki. She was the sweetest person that he'd ever met and he looked up to her. She was the closest that he'd ever call a mother or big sister. She'd protect him and care for him. She showed him how to go across servers and to create new world.

He was 14 when Technoblade joined the server once again but by then...Ranboo had forgotten his father's name and only knew the legend of Technoblade so he was excited to say the least to finally "meet" his idol.

Once he reached where Techno stood, he left once he spotted young Ranboo.

Technoblade left the server.

He believed it was his fault, he was half enderman after all. He was 6'5 at 14, it was practically unheard of!

He didn't know Techno had ran off to the Dream SMP and had went to create a small refuge so he could bring Ranboo to the server but it took longer than he thought though he knew he should've realised how long a castle with a village plus walls to protect it would take to build, even with his father's help. He had asked Dream to whitelist the child and through some convincing, Ranboo was whitelisted on the server.

It was Ranboo's 16th birthday at last. 10 years on the dot since his father left. The ghosts were chatting happily amongst themselves as they were talking about what recently happened on the Dream SMP. From what he tuned in to, he could tell there had been some wars and new people had joined. He heard that some Tommy person might be exiled for burning a "Gogy"'s house.

He was in the middle of a skywars game when he got a dm from Dream. He had to hide that he was messaging from the chat though it wasn't hard because they were all busy amongst themselves. Once he won the round, instead of going into another game like expected, he began to joke that he could hack into the Dream SMP.

He opened up a virtual keyboard and began spelling random words before opening the server. His ghost friends were crazy after that and began believing that it wasn't true but after he did some exploring and met with some of the current players, they believed he was on the SMP.

He was killed twice in the first 5 minutes of arriving by Dream.

Once that ordeal was over, he began a tour with Tubbo and Niki and he had a great time. One time Techno joined the server but he immediately left. He didn't have the best first impression with Tommy over his age but they ended up getting along great over their love of chaos.

It was a month into the server when he formally met Technoblade. It was awkward but they warmed up to each other. Techno didn't mention Ranboo being his child until they reached the place that Techno and Phil built for Ranboo. He was brought into the palace and shown the rooms.

He was told the news when they reached Techno's room. He didn't believe it until he was shown a photo album of him as a baby up until Techno left.

Initially, he was angry - pissed even. However, after hearing the the tale Techno told of wars gone and to be, he was still angry but more forgiving.

It took a week for him to settle down and get into a schedule before he and Techno went back to the SMP. It was still awkward but they were working on it. Unsurprisingly, Ranboo was good with a sword. He had grown up with skywars and parkour so his footwork was great.

It was that day where Techno introduced the SMP to his son. He didn't tell anyone where him and Ranboo lived - it was for protection. Ranboo was accepted into the family immediately, he recognised Phil - they had a brief interaction when he was starting to wonder if he should stay on Hypixel or find someplace else to call home though Phil told him to stay in case his father returned.

Everything was good.

Phil, Tommy, Tubbo, Fundy all began to move their primary bases to Techno's house - under Techno's permission. Wilbur was different, his ghost was still tied to L'manberg but his family was leaving him. He revealed himself to Niki a week ago but he hadnt seen her since, it was like she was avoiding him. He had also met another ghost called JSchlatt but whenever he talked to anyone about him they would tell him to stay away from Schlatt but he thought he was cool amd fun to hang around with. He was nervous though because Schlatt would bring him to weird rooms that were familiar yet he couldn't remember them. He was scared but his family was gone.

It took a year for Dream to form an agreememt with Tubbo - Dream will give back the disks but Tubbo has to give up L'Manberg's independance. It was a hard choicw but after seeing how happy his famiky was away from L'Manberg and the bad memories, he made the deal. L'Manberg was once again part of the Dream SMP. "Manifold land" stood strong though Jack had disappeared once again. Niki had left to Techno's house and Niki and Techno began raising Ranboo like their own child, though Niki and Techno weren't a couple though great friends. Niki and Wilbur made up but the best thing happened to him.

He found Sally.

Turns out Sally was taken while she was exploring and eventually died. He told her everything that he remembered and she was forgiving though she gave him a lecture. They found Fundy and it was a tearful exchange. Wilbur properly apologised to Fundy and though Fundy didnt forgive him now - he was willing to start to trust him. Fundy still lived with his family though sometimes visited his parents small home by the lake.

Schlatt left the server and met up with everyone except Wilbur from SMP live. He was happier than he ever was.

George and Eret became two kings, not in love but in close friendship. Eret mainly ruled over the old L' Manburg area but they worked together.

Dream decided he needed to be a bettee fiance and decided to focus more time of Fundy and spent more time with Purpled - who quickly became the little brother he needed, and the rest of the SMP. He invited Drista on the server permanently after his parents sadly passed due to age but he removed her powers. She occasionally leaves the server for school - Dream jokingly made a rule for the children of the server to go to a server based on school but they ended up enjoying it and go very often - but spends more time causing chaos for everyone.

Sapnap sadly died after an accidental arson went wrong and he died in his own fire. He mainly caused chaos for George but spent his death happily watchiny over his friends.

Skeppy and Bad left the server to spend more time with the idots and own personal servers, though Bad sometimes came back to spend time with his friends.

Everyone was happy.

It all started on a day like any other, Ghostbur was pranking his family again and having fun but today everyone was tenser than usual. He hadn't noticed it until he realised people had started to avoid him more and more.

Maybe it was because of something he forgot?

Was it his fault?

Since he was alone, he went exploring of the SMP. He met people that he only faintly remembered and catched up until he saw orange by Eret's castle and ran to greet his son.

He only stopped when he heard Phil say, "Well Eret, you are now the new dad of Fundy!" They only noticed him when he made a small whimper, "Did nobody tell him about Fundy?" Eret asks sympathetically as the ghost flew back home.

Ghostbur clogged every entrance to his home with left over obsidion that he found so he can try and stay alone. Once he was sure nobody could enter, he cried. For the first time in a while, Ghostbur cried. He cried for his son, he cried for Sally. He wanted to be a child once again, sparring Techno while bullying Tommy then playing music with them to Phil but right now he's a sonless dad.

Somehow, he passed out while crying and awoke to feeling happier than normal. He couldn't remember why his entryway was blocked up but it was obvious that somebody tried to come through the barricade but probably gave up. Once he managed to get through his own barricade, people were slightly happier but were constantly on the look out for someone or something.

He could remember everyone except one among the crowd. He goes over to Phil, who was helping build another house, "Hey Phil, who's the furry over there?" He asks confused only to get an even more confused responce, "You dont remember Fundy?

At the Syndicate Meeting Area...

“Remember that Snowchester place we checked out a few weeks ago?”

Earlier...

Ranboo had been confused when he got an emergency call from Phil saying how there was an important meeting and it was imperative that he came but he ran over from Snowchester, leaving a still-sleeping Tubbo in their bed (having decided on a shared bed for their mansion after the constant nightmares the duo had from their pasts - allowing them to comfort the other quicker as well as it was easier for them to snuggle with Michael).

He mistaken the lava that he needed to jump into to reach said base, “I really need to write that down”, again but eventually reached the meeting place, finding him to be the last one to arrive, “I came as soon as I heard. What’s up?”

“Remember that Snowchester place we checked out a few weeks ago?”

It was obvious that Ranboo was shocked, he tried to hide it but he wasn’t very good about it, “What about Snowchester?” He asked, pulling out his communicator under the table - ready to message Tubbo as soon as he could.

“It’s became a...problem. We think it’s forming a government and so we have to take it out. First, we need to find something, anything that Tubbo holds dear enough for him to sacrifice his last life.”

Too frozen to move. Too frozen to even warn his platonic husband about the incoming threats. Not too frozen to acknowledge the hands in front of his face to snap him out of his trance, “Wha-what?”

“We asked if you know anything that could help us against the government?”

“Uhh...I need to go feed my animals.” He says before running out of the meeting and straight towards Snowchester. Unknowingly, the other people who he had been meeting with followed him. Followed him all the way to the secret.

He only noticed them when he turned around, after hearing Michael’s confused snort, in Michael’s bedroom and saw all three of them barricading the doors to the exit, “Oh no...”

“So you do know something about Tubbo and decided to hide it from us?”

Knowing that there was nothing he could do, he held Michael close to him and tried to get as much comfort as he could, “This is Michael B- Beloved, mine and Tubbo’s son. He’s adopted from the nether. Found him at the bottom of a lava lake and nobody was helping him, he followed us home.”

“I didn’t need his life story, the only time you’re allowed in Snowchester is to get your stuff then you’re never to set foot in Snowchester again.”

“I-I understand...” He waited until they left to set Michael down and quickly left the room. He knew that the stress from Techno’s visit and protecting Michael and Tubbo wasn’t good until he was alone but it was taking over. The enderstate had taken Dream’s voice because from what he had heard, Dream was the big bad guy. The source of nightmares. The juxtapositional irony. The guy named Dream giving people nightmares. He knew that the enderstate wasn’t good news but he didn’t know how bad until now. He had shown violence in the enderstate before but never up to death.

Which is why he didn’t expect to come out of the enderstate with Tubbo bloody and bruised but breathing. Immediately, he started panicking and the panic began to build until, instead of the enderstate, he gained purple particles and teleported him and Tubbo to Puffy. He didn’t explain what happened but Puffy took him anyways and began to clean him up. He quickly left to go see Michael and bring him to Puffy so he is safe and looked after. Soon after Michael was safe with Puffy, he didn’t stay like he probably should’ve but he ran. He knew he couldn’t go to Snowchester or Artic Commune so the next best place is the place where he first met the Dream voice.

He vowed never to return to this place but desperate times count for desperate measures and his desperate measure was making sure he never hurt his family again. Signs on the entrance we’re replaced by obsidian. More signs were placed to remind him of what he did. It was inevitable but after half an hour of him trapped in that box, the voice appeared.

“You almost killed him.”

“You showed them Michael”

“You only have me.”

“We can be friends.”

“They messed with your memory book, made you believe that they didn’t hurt you. Didn’t betray you. Dream was your only friend but you turned against him. They want him to be alone.”

The voice repeatedly stating lies after lies with sprinkles of truth to give Ranboo the doubt the voice needed to get into his head. Ranboo had soon realised what the voice was doing and tried to escape but breaking the obsidian with his hand was basically impossible and Ranboo was twisted to the will of the voice.

Tubbo has woken up soon after Ranboo had left, thanks to the health pots he was practically back to normal, “Ranboo?! Ranboo!” He called, remembering what the enderman had done but forgave him after he saw the dullness in Ranboo’s eyes showing that he wasn’t in control. “He left once he brought Michael here, I thought he would’ve returned but he didn’t.” Puffy had informed him while handing him the zombie piglin child.

Tubbo held him close but passed him back to Puffy, “I need to find Ranboo, can you watch him til I get back?” Puffy knew best not to anger Ranboo or Tubbo when it came to their other half or child so she quickly agreed and decided to bring Michael to see Michelle.

First stop was Snowchester, it took a awhile to search the mansion and his old base but there was no sign of Ranboo.

Next stop was the worst stop but he knew he needed the extra hands.

Quickly, he made his way to the Artic Commune but, unlucky for him, it was the one day Phil and Techno were working on a build outside. He tried to sneak to Ranboo’s old house but was quickly caught, “Tubbo we see you there, mate.”

Sighing, he went over to the duo, “I’m looking for Ranboo. He was in his enderwalk state and hurt me, a lot, but he got me somewhere safe before he disappeared. I’ve checked Snowchester and decided to look here because he counted here as his home.”

“If Ranboo’s missing then we should find him.”

“No, he is probably exploring.”

“Techno, I know you’re upset about him keeping a big secret from us but his life could be in danger.”

“This is more than a secret Phil! He betrayed us for a government!”

“We didn’t even know they were forming a government! You just assumed because Tubbo was a former president, he didn’t even want the position. It was basically forced on him. From what I could hear before I found Wilbur that day, it went from Wilbur to Tommy to Tubbo. You look at him like I did Wilbur when he first came here. You think hes like your son and that’s alright but you can’t just not try and save him because he founded a family.”

“...Fine. We search the SMP but once he’s found, he’s not welcome anymore.”

To say it was awkward is an understatement, it seemed like the longest trip to the SMP ever! Eventually they made it and began searching for the enderman.

They talked to a bunch of members who were enjoying their time but none of them had seen Ranboo today.

An hour later...

They met up at the community house and began walking to talk about potential locations but it soon directed into a different topic, “Michael has a middle name, Ranboo chose it. He said it was an ender tradition for their child’s middle names to be related to someone special to them but I’m not sure who Michael’s middle name relates to.”

“What is it?”

“Billium. Michael Billium Beloved.”

Techno immediately looked to Phil who seems sheepish, “I may have told him that your real name is Billium.” “You- ugh I’ve given up on trusting people with my secrets.” Techno groans and notices a black figure near the prison and walks over to it.

Flurries of purple surrounded Techno but he wasn’t teleported but instead the figure came closer, the particles were the only thing stopping Techno from moving. Soon enough, Techno could make out the figure.

Ranboo.

The figure was Ranboo.

Ranboo was the one near the prison and, from the looks of it, had made a big hole in the side of the prison.

Unfortunately for them, the enderstate had made Ranboo very aggressive and he began to attack Techno, causing Phil and Tubbo to try and stop him.

Inside, Ranboo screamed. He tried to stop the enderstate from hurting his friends and husband. It ended up with Techno being bruised and Phil with a broken arm and multiple bruises before the enderstate turned to Tubbo. That caused a distress in the control. Showed through the hesitant actions made by Ranboo and his dull eyes flashing like a a robot running out of batteries. One hit. One hit is all it took on Tubbo for Ranboo to take control but seemed to be struggling.

Tubbo seemed to see how Ranboo was acting now and went over to try and encourage Ranboo to take control, “Ranboo come back to us, come on Ranboo.”

“Tubbo get Sam, Sam can help. Please just get Sam.” He begs then begins calling for Sam, which Tubbo tried to stop but it was in vain as Sam came running, “Ranboo wha-? Why are you shouting?” Sam asks panicked. “Get Tubbo away, get them all away. Lock me up Sam. It’s gonna hurt things.”

“I...”

Does Sam lock up Ranboo or do they work things out?

Find out never because I’m sleep deprived and worked on this during Puffy’s stream. None of this is canon and I believe I got the Billium name from an image on Tumblr but can’t remember the @.

"Dream let me go, you literally dragged me out of the tournament! The freaking admins tried to stop you! What's wrong with you?!" Purpled argues while trying to pull away, an iron sword still by his side from the bedwars game he was in

"Purpled if you don't shut up, the next tournament you take part in will be your last. Anyways, you are all going into that cage or Purpled here dies and the whole SMP blows up! Remember Tommy, your brother and Dad are out there and despite Techno's catchphrase, he can die. Did Phil tell you he has one life left?"

"...What? No, he has 3! He hasn't died!" Tommy protests while pushing Tubbo closer to Ranboo so Tubbo can try and wake Ranboo up, despite Wilbur's protests.

"No Tommy, when he came from his mystical world of permadeath, he brought over his only life rule. The only difference? The world He came from will give him a coma if he died until his spirit founded another world to inherit, whilst this world will kill him. You'll be an orphan Tommy. I wonder what Techno will do once he realises Phil is dead? Maybe those voices in his head will make him kill everyone? I wonder who'll survive? Tubbo definitely wont, you won't but you might survive since he may take mercy on you because he's your brother."

Tommy steps forward, "Remember our duel for L'Manberg? Before the disks, before everything went to shit?"

"Of course, I took your first life."

"Right...well how about another duel?"

"Tommy no!" Tubbo yells and runs over to Tommy, turning him around, "Please don't do this Tommy, what if you die? You'll lose your last life while if you win then Dream will only lose one life and he can continue to terrorise us."

"But if we win then I can come home! We can build that forest that you wanted, for only us."

"Tommy..."

None of them saw Dream pull out his crossbow...
