+ In reality, he's kind of in shock that you'd really be jealous over him, the useless puppet discarded by his own mother—but that's his unresolved insecurity and mommy issues talking

+ He'll keep up the façade and tease you for a while until he realizes you're genuinely upset—then he'll find some roundabout way to tell you that you have nothing to worry about, he only has eyes for you...of course he'll never directly admit that, though

"Hah, you're jealous? What a foolish human emotion—of course I'll be adored by thousands..."

The Wanderer cuts himself off as he takes in your tense form, brows furrowed and eyes looking anywhere but him as you quietly seethe. His chest clenches in that weird way it only seems to do when you're involved.

"Wait...don't tell me you're actually angry...?"

You don't show any signs you even heard his question and the Wanderer sighs dramatically, averting his own gaze to hide his reddening cheeks as he mumbles his next words.

"You have nothing to worry about, idiot...you're way above any of those other weaklings anyway."

⭐ Xiao

+ I'm sorry but he literally is incapable of understanding that you're jealous

+ Like...he can barely even process that you like him, let alone recognize the advances of another random human who is interested in him. The time he even spends with others is extremely limited unless you're involved so there aren't many chances for anyone to talk to him

+ If it's something like another adepti or half-adepti, like Ganyu, who he's been spending a lot more time with lately training, you might feel insecure by your own mortality, which Xiao can somewhat understand but still doesn't get the jealousy part

+ Tries his best to try to comfort you though, even if it means shyly asking Zhongli or Verr Goldet

+ Surprisingly ends up coming to the best solution—spending more time with you

You nearly jump out of your skin when you turn to find the figure of your boyfriend standing behind you on the balcony of Wangshu Inn. You're certain he wasn't there just five minutes ago.

"Huh? Shouldn't you be training Ganyu today...?" You ask, feeling slightly sick at the mention of the pretty half-adeptus girl. She was a sweetheart and a great friend but you can't help but to think about how much time she's been spending with Xiao. You're sure she doesn't have any ulterior motives but you can't help but to think about how much prettier and stronger she is compared to you. Surely Xiao sees it too...

"We agreed to take a break for today," Xiao immediately answers, slowly stepping forward until his cheat is nearly touching the back of your arm, so close you can smell the faint traces of his natural scent—something fresh and crisp like the mountain air.

"Instead...I want to spend some time with you—if you'll allow it." He says softly. You momentarily freeze, not used to Xiao initiating dates. Unperturbed, he continues speaking.

"I thought we could do that mortal activity you told me about before. I think it was called...a picnic?"

⭐ Zhongli

+ The god who has ruled over humans for over 2,000 years—of course he's familiar with such a common emotion like jealousy. Even if he himself has yet to experience it

+ He would never assume you were jealous unless you openly tell him about it

+ But then he's quick to assuage your worries and maybe even propose some sort of compromise that can satisfy you both

+ Spends a night absolutely spoiling you until you hardly remember you were ever jealous in the first place, if that's what you so desire

"Ah, it seems you may have misunderstood my relationship with the funeral director, I apologize if I caused you any discomfort," Zhongli tells you earnestly, gently holding your hands in his own, much larger ones and holding your gaze so intensely you find it impossible to look away.

"Now tell me, my dear, how may I settle your worries? Perhaps we should take some time away, just the two of us?"

⭐ Childe

+ Idk how you even got jealous in the first place cause this man is glued to your hip

+ Slightly flattered when he recognizes your signs of jealousy cause he just sees it as proof of how much you care about him

+ It may feel a bit demeaning at first but he will not take your jealousy seriously. He baby talks, pinches your cheeks, and teases you but will not show any genuine concern—not because he doesn't care about your feelings, but because he's so sure that he only has eyes for you that he thinks your jealously is completely unreasonable in the first place

+ As a big fan of PDA, he takes the advantage to be more touchy and affectionate with you in public under the guise of "showing everyone he's yours"

+ If anything, he's the one whose always jealous when another person takes so much as a second of your attention—but you don't need to know that

"Aww, is my prince/ss pouting now? Ahaha, don't look at me like that!" Childe effortlessly dodges the elbow you aim at his ribs after he pinches at the fat of your cheek for the third time today.

Not perturbed in the least, Childe sticks himself to your side and continues to grin down at you, uncaring of the strangers who glance at you two with strange looks as you make your way through the busy streets of Liyur Harbor.

"Here, how about I make it up to you and we go on a lunch date? My treat!"

⭐ Venti

+ Another one who doesn't take your concerns seriously

+ However, unlike most of the other men, it's pretty reasonable to be jealous with how Venti talks to everyone

+ He's naturally romantic and seems to possess no clear boundaries, leading to him saying things that could be construed as flirtatious without him even realizing it

+ When he's tipsy on dandelion wine, it's not unusual to see him belting out ballads and serenading anyone nearby willing to give him the time of day—though, in reality, his love songs are all actually written about you

"Oh, my windblume is feeling a bit jealous?"

You don't bother providing a response but Venti doesn't seem to need one.

"Ehehe, so cute," he coos, shamelessly wrapping his arms around you. Any feelings of jealousy you hold are quickly being replaced with embarrassment at how other patrons in the crowded bar frequently glance at you and your loud boyfriend.

"No worries, my love, this poor bard's heart only beats for you! I'll even prove it with this song I wrote..."

⭐ Albedo

+ It's Sucrose, isn't it?

+ They spend all those hours locked up in a small lab room in the depths of Dragonspine—its only natural that you'd feel suspicious right?

+ Wrong

+ When he's not with you, Albedo literally only thinks about his experiemnts or drawing. In fact, the times you and Albedo are together are really the only time anyone ever sees Albedo actually listen to someone outside of the Knights of Favonius and talk about things that aren't directly related to alchemy

+ As the so-called "chalk prince," it's not that uncommon for people to find him physically attractive and try their luck—but any deeper feelings usually vanish when they realize he has no interest in them. That and his blank stares can get rather unsettling...

+ If you do get jealous about Albedo being around anyone, it will eventually go away on its own as you realize this man is literally incapable of recognizing flirting

+ (Also, Sucrose is literally an angel and would never jeopardize your relationship. Like, she actively ships you guys together, pls—)

You try very hard not to laugh at the relieved expression the woman Albedo was previously lecturing shoots you. She wastes no time slipping out of the lab while Albedo is distracted, his ocean deep eyes staring at you with a mix of surprise and quiet adoration.

"Ah, it's about lunch time and I don't have any commissions today so I thought we could go get something to eat together. Sorry if I'm disturbing you—"

"Not at all," Albedo interrupts, quickly putting away the glass vial he previously held and removing his latex gloves.

"A visit from you is never a disturbance," Albedo admits plainly, oblivious to the way his words make your chest squeeze.

"Now let's go. If we hurry, we might be able to make it to that place you like before they get crowded."

⭐ Tighnari

+ Lmao what are you jealous of, a flower?

+ This is another Science Man™️ who literally sees nothing but his work. Unless there's a rare sentient species of seductive mushrooms in Sumeru with it's sights set on fennec fox boys, you have nothing to worry about

+ Collei sees him as something akin to an older brother figure and Tighnari is too sassy for anyone else to get close unless they're interested in joining the forest watchers

+ If you tell him you're jealous, he's probably going to call you an idiot for even thinking he's interested in anyone else

Tighnari looks almost annoyed at your confession, glancing up from his journal only to shoot you a glare.

"Hah? Did you accidentally eat some hallucinogenic mushrooms again? I don't have enough time entertain things like that. What a ridiculous accusation."

Annoyance bubbles up inside you but, before you can act on it, Tighnari is already standing from his desk, striding over to you quickly to gently pull you along with him.

"Now come with me. I found an interesting flower on the outskirts of camp I think you'd like."

The proud grin highlighted by the sparkle in his eyes as he looks up at you quickly cuts off any protests you were going to make.

if there was not panic on his expression then, he is most certain there is now. he coughs awkwardly once or twice, tries to sit up, but you place your hand on his chest, almost laugh at the little resistance he bears as he lies back down.

"you've barely slept, dokja. you need to rest." you glance at him, fond of the pink that dusts his cheeks. "if you have another nightmare, i'll be here when you wake."

he doesn't fight the feeling, allows himself to realize the fatigue that seeps into his bones, weighs heavy on his being. he offers a quiet word of thanks, knows there is safety to be found in you.

what an odd realization that is. he has never felt safe before, not with anyone. but why is it that your mere existence brings ease to the soul, the weight of all that you are so terribly light on the strings of the heart?

he doesn't question it. he doesn't like to, thinks it's better to not dwell on such things.

so he closes his eyes, the faintest curl of the lips blossoming when he feels your familiar touch once more. how holy and tender it is, this strangeness that resides in his chest. you absentmindedly fix stray hairs, your fingers trailing down his face, touch a ghost of what could be. how wonderfully does his smile grow in this moment, and you hope to carry this memory for when the days grow long and difficult.

Soon it was time to leave. Dokja ran up to you, hugging you tightly. "I don't want to go...*hyuk*" he hiccupped, sobbing slightly dramatically. "Awh, you'll be fine without me, it won't be that long til' you see me again!" You smiled, giving him a peck on the forehead.

In response he stared at you with puppy dog eyes. "W-what?" you put a hand up, blocking him from leaning in closer, blushing. "You didn't kiss me on the lips.." He pouted sadly. If he was a dog, you'd see his ears and tail droop in a very depressed manner.

"Ah-I see!" You giggled, wrapping your arms around his neck and giving him a kiss-on the lips this time. As if it was some high-end magical cure, Dokja instantly became happy again.

Coming out of the tent all prepared, Kim Dokja was fired up and ready to complete the main scenario-whatever it might be. Of course, he wouldn't show his eagerness to anyone but you. This little golden retriever side of him was only accessible to be seen by your eyes. 'Gotta complete this so I can see [name] sooner!', he thought.

Finally, after the banquet that was held finished, Dokja could finally be with you again. Transporting back to your world, he opened his eyes and saw your figure waiting for him in the distance. He quickly ran and embraced you in a tight hug. "I missed you so much [name]..." He could finally breath in your scent, feel your hugs, and talk to you again. He honestly didn't care about hiding his clinginess anymore, he just misses you so much (not that he hid it very well anyway).

"You're back! How'd it go? Are you hurt anymore?" You flooded him with questions, eager to see him again. You dragged him in the pop-up medical station that was set for any injured or sick people. "Sit!" You declared, pushing him down on the make-shift bed. You check his temperature, any signs of blood, to the very bone. Even though he was fine, you still gave him a health potion, and also used your own skill to heal him. You guys really were the perfect couple, or at least close enough, considering the whole apocalypse and all.

They're going to be both amused and shocked at your assertiveness. Then maybe they'll finally reciprocate your zeal. After all, if you bring such passion to the table, it would be wrong to give you anything less.

Immediately kisses you however they want

I hope you know what you're getting into. They'll kiss you with zero hesitation and will devour your lips. Their kisses are gonna be rough and unrelenting. They don't wanna hear any complaints about it either. You're the one who asked for it- well, rather, demanded it, and if you're going to be demanding, then it's only fair that they get their share too!

Asks how you'd like it first before kissing you

If you had to ask for a kiss, then you must want it a certain way, right? So how would you like it? Would you like a light peck or a deep kiss? Do you want it gentle or more rough? Do you want them to bite your lip? Suck on it? Use tongue?

Dare to tell them to figure it out. A small blush will then spread across their cheeks, but they're nonetheless eager to go through all sorts of ways to kiss you.

They're going to blush a bit at the sudden demand. But they'll try to put up an indifferent front towards it. "Well...sure I guess....", he'll shrug and give you a quick peck on the lips. His attitude reverts to a flustered one when you hum with delight and have the brightest smile on your face after he kisses you.

"Why are you so happy? It's just a kiss"

"It's a kiss from my beloved, why wouldn't I be happy?"

Now you've got him even redder.

"...would you like more?", he'll mumble.

He just loves seeing you so happy, and is so happy that the reason for it is him.

Teases you before giving it to you

Ayato, Venti, KAEYA, Heizou

In any other situation, they'd kiss you on the spot. Though, this time, they'd pause and decide to make you work for it. If you wanted a kiss, then you'd better earn it. Show them how patient and good you could be.

They're going to kiss you everywhere except for your lips, the place where you wanted it to be. They'll be painfully slow about it too. They'll begin by kissing your hand, then pressing kisses up arm, up your neck, your jaw, and right when you think he was finally going to kiss your lips, he simply kisses your cheek. You whine and he simply responds, "I'm kissing you, aren't I?", and proceeds to leave kisses all over your face.

If you try to kiss them, they'll put a finger up to your lips to prevent you and will prolong their teasing. Like I said, he wants to see how patient you can be and once he's seen it, he'll admire your adorable, flustered face for a moment before finally meeting his lips with yours.

Bonus:

Will say "no" just to get a rise out of you

Alhaitham, Scaramouche, CHILDE, Heizou, Kaeya

Similar to teasing, but worse. He'll deny you to the point where you truly believe that he doesn't want to kiss you. It's gonna make you pout, but once he's taken in enough of your cute expression, he's going to kiss you so sweetly and do much more to make it up to you.

“an rbf,” your boyfriend echoes. the acronym sounds clunky rolling off of nanami kento’s tongue, and his frown lets you know that he’s never heard the phrase before.

“it stands for ‘resting bitch face.’ that’s what you have,” you explain carefully, stroking the back of his hand with a soft thumb.

kento’s brow furrows even deeper, voice slightly indignant as he asks all too seriously, “do i look like a bitch to you?”

you can’t help the laugh that escapes your lips. kento is the smartest man you’ve ever met, but he is woefully ignorant when it comes to slang. before you started dating, you had to explain to him what “lmao” meant; that was the first time he had ever heard of urban dictionary.

your boyfriend’s stare is intense as you attempt to describe his facial expression. “no—that’s not what the term means. basically, it means that your resting face looks a little…pissed, for lack of a better word.”

kento is quiet for a beat before clarifying, “so, i look stern most of the time?”

“yes, that’s it!” you agree with a snap. “stern.”

“i suppose that’s why people often say i look intimidating,” kento muses. he threads his fingers through yours.

“i think that’s a fair assumption.”

“well,” kento says, raising your hand up to his lips. “i will try to be more mindful of my demeanor.” he places a gentle kiss to your knuckles.

you shake your head. “don’t bother.”

“and why is that?”

the smile that graces your lips makes him fall in love with you all over again. “i love you the way you are—grumpy face and all.”

I’ve noticed more and more writers are misusing the term AFAB and using it as a shorthand to say the reader is a cis women. This is a bit disheartening to see as the term was coined specifically to include trans and nonbinary people. AFAB is purely a physical description and has no bearing on the gender of the reader. It’s a gender neutral term. So please tag accordingly. Continuing to use it like this just further alienates trans people from a word made to include us. Please, just tag female if that’s what you mean.

(After dealing with the offender) They'll leave their hand on your shoulder, your waist, or your hip, and pull you in close to them, and hold you like this for as long as they are with you. They won't be afraid to plant kisses up and down your neck, shoulder, and jaw while he's at it too.

He'll do anything to tell others to back off because you're already taken by him.

...they've missed you so much

Alhaitham, Ayato, Tighnari, Albedo, Xiao

"Clingy" isn't really in their vocabulary, but during the times you've been away for a while, they'll show how much they've missed you by almost never leaving your side, following you around like a lost puppy.

Going to the kitchen for a snack? Well, they're suddenly hungry and will go with you too. Going out to get some groceries? He'll offer to come with you help you carry the bags. Reading a book? He'll grab one to read and sit beside you. Even if you two aren't speaking and are simply doing your own things, he'll want to be wherever you are. Your presence alone is enough to make him happy.

I think they'd also give you more kisses than usual as well: kissing you when you arrive home, kissing you before he leaves, or simply kissing you out of nowhere to enjoy the look of surprise on your face.

...they want comfort

Kaveh, Cyno, Diluc

After a long day of work, he'll come home and would immediately go to hug you from behind, clinging to your waist as he nuzzles his face into your back. Hugging you like this eases him, and with your warm hand holding his arms wrapped around you and leaning into his touch, all of his stress would begin to wash away.

Kaveh would totally be the type to vent about his day, then leaving kisses up and down your back as he tells you how much you ease his mind and how much he adores you. His adoration will only skyrocket if you choose to turn him around and return his flurry of kisses. At this point, he'd come to an epiphany; Instead of drowning in his sorrows, he'd rather drown in you.

On the other hand, I see Cyno and Diluc being the type to hug you in silence, simply relishing the feeling of you in his arms and calming himself as he listens to your heartbeat.

They'd stay like this for a while. You are his source of comfort, both physically and emotionally, so of course he'd cling onto you when he's had a rough day.

...they think of ever losing you

Dainsleif, Zhongli

When they think of how there will eventually come a time where you will no longer be there with him, it pains him extraordinarily. He doesn't want to think of such thoughts, yet, he knows that he must understand the reality of it.

Like the previous category, he'll also hug you out of nowhere, embracing you so tightly that you could feel the pounding of his heart against his chest and deeply inhaling your scent that he so adores. He'll keep you in his arms for the longest time without saying a word. There would be no need for words to tell you that he desperately needed to hold you, to shield you in his arms and protect you, wishing that his embrace could keep you safe and sound with him for the eternity he'll have to live for.

He doesn't want to let you go, so let him enjoy the remaining time he has with you.

...they crave your affection

Baizhu, Gorou, Kazuha, Thoma

They'd be a shy and romantic type of clingy, wanting more of your touch, wanting to be held by you, and wanting more of your love, but being hesitant to ask for it directly. They wouldn't want you to see them as needy and end up warding you off as a result.

So they'll attempt to be subtle with their desire, extending his hand out you when you're in a crowd, brushing off a strand of hair that may be in your face, gently holding the small of your back as you two walk, and finding any other opportunity to touch you in a helpful or kind manner for as long as he can.

It's when you finally return his affections will he feel free to be more forward with his own. When you'd place your on hand on his, or cup his cheek, he will immediately melt into your touch, holding your hand tighter or taking your cupped hand and kissing your palm.

Play with their hair, dance your fingers on his skin, caress his cheeks, do anything to show your affection for him and he'll fold so easily for you, further begging you for it by reciprocating your actions and maybe even more 🤭

They hold a lot of love for you and it SHOWS. It'll be a complete combination of all categories up to this point. If you leave the room, it doesn't matter where you're going, he's going with you. He wants to be close to you and will want to have his hands on you nearly the entire time. Heck, he will literally cling onto you like a leech, clinging onto your arm or waist. He's not planning on leaving your side or letting you go anytime soon.

Brace yourself because he'll also talk your ear off at the same time too, either by talking about some random thing, complimenting you in the weirdest of ways, or telling you the cheesiest of pick-up lines.

Like, I see Itto suddenly pulling out an onikabuto from his pocket to gift you, saying, "My love for you is like this Onikabuto- big and impossible to break 😌". On the other hand, I think Venti would be much smoother and Shakespearean with his words tbh lol

You'll also catch them staring at you for long periods of time and when you call them out on it, they'll simply respond, "Can you blame me? It's hard not to stare when you're just too beautiful" and would give you a cheeky wink.

“When Diluc falls in love, he paces the floor, closes the blinds, and locks the door”

♡ Diluc would deny himself that feeling. He refuses to acknowledge his feelings until he realizes he’s been trying to see your smile often, making sure you got home safely. The moment he accepts his feelings, he won’t confess first. He hates going into things without being sure, so his refusal to confess first stems from the fact he’s scared you won’t reciprocate his feelings. When you do confess though, he’ll smile in disbelief and would be the first to initiate a hug. He would hesitate at first but when you wrapped your arms around him he hugged you even tighter. (I live for touch starved diluc and what about it)

“Kaveh waits and takes his time 'cause Little Miss Sunshine always thinks it's gonna rain”

♡ Kaveh slowly realizes it and wanted to make his confession worth it. He’d plan for months, carefully choosing the right way to confess to you because he doesn’t want to blow this opportunity away. While he thinks of the best way to confess, he realizes he loves you too much that he gets scared of that fact. He’d overthink, would you accept his feelings? Would you reject him? Will your friendship stay the same even after you reject him? That's why it took so long for him to say those three words to you; he was scared of the different ways it could go wrong. All his planning was thrown off the window when he just flat-out says it to you on a random Tuesday morning while the both of you were alone. He was flustered, shaking, and was about to turn the other way when you grabbed his hand to kiss him. He’d melt at your touch and smile brightly as the both of you kissed. (He’d totally ask you if you really do like him or did you just kiss him right after the whole ordeal)

“When Childe falls in love, it’s all on his face, hangs in the air like stars in outer space”

♡ Childe would quite literally not hide the fact he’s in love with you. Like he genuinely just wants you to know he loves you, but he would never rush you. He’s a gentleman, and he would wait for your answer, no matter how long it took. He would give specific gifts, like “I bought this for you because you said these were your favorite” kind of gift. He would be devastated if you rejected him, but so long as you let him express his love for you, it was enough for him. He makes sure all the time that you aren't uncomfortable with the things he does or the gifts he gives you. When you do answer him with a yes, he will absolutely carry you in his arms and kiss you softly. 

“When Itto falls in love, he’s in it for keeps; he won’t walk away unless he knows he absolutely has to leave”

♡ This man saw you once and knew you were the one, and he’s persistent. He would do the most embarrassing things to get your attention, like a small performance with his pals in the middle of the road. Despite his comedic stunts, he pulls you out of the crowd of people to let you know he’s absolutely serious about what he feels. He can’t really put it into words, so he puts it into action. He says sorry too for his public declaration of his feelings and would ask you to not feel obligated just because he did it publicly. “Just say it, and I swear I’ll stop. I’m a man of my word.” When you confessed that you were starting to like him, he would scream at the top of his lungs out of happiness and crush you lovingly with his hug.
