This morning I had the opportunity to practice DNA extraction from a blood sample from a South hospital. It was a rather nice experience since I wasn't anxious at all, I had overcome my fear of micropipette.
Bookish places in France 🇫🇷
lab days are my favorite, there’s no urgency…it’s only numbers, easy mixing and tons of observations. my professor said my observations were “delightfully descriptive” in a thick British accent and I found myself flowing with ease in the calculations. who would have known I would remember things from nearly a decade ago!
I also made a new friend and I’m excited to have a study partner.

"Heeeeeeerree's KERMIE!!"
Neurology today was all about the various systems and pathways of the brain, spine and disorders identifiable to those specific regions. Really enjoyed it! I think anatomy is my favourite element of studying medicine to be honest, maybe that's the artist in me... if I was to become a doctor, I could envisage myself as a surgeon. BUT in saying that, I absolutely adore RESEARCH 🔬...best and bit of both maybe?
love and light - I am SO done for today re studying Darcy x
More annotations on the divine comedy, my edition is written in prose for some reason so it’s not that authentic and the transaltion is kinda wonky but it was what i could get at the time
