When you see a pin on the collar of your uniform, you notice the “O” in the middle transforms into the moon. The moon also indicates whatever moon phase you will be seeing that night.

You’ve been placed into Ombrelune, house of Beauxbatons; Astronomers, inventors, teachers, diplomats, scientists, authors, among many other things.

The common area of Ombrelune is located in the highest tower. It is also the common room closest to the grand library. The common area in Ombrelune is the most luxurious. With high quality furniture and telescopes always available to any student.

the sound of thunder pulled you out of your slumber.

you could see the open window that was causing the disturbance to your sleep. it would be so easy to get up and shut it, but the weight of peeta’s arms holding you close to him kept you firmly pressed to the bed.

you knew that he preferred to sleep with the windows open. he was cautious in asking you if he could keep the windows open, he ensured you that if you preferred them closed then that would be perfectly okay as well. you happily agreed to let him open them, after all he’d been through he deserved far more than you letting him open the windows while you slept. he also wasn’t wrong, hearing the birds in the morning was nice and the feeling of fresh air circulating the room.

however, there were a few downsides. in the summer, the room would heat up quickly, causing you to throw off the covers and move away from peeta, who only made you warmer. conversely, in the winter the cold air had you huddling close to peeta and pulling up the blankets as much as possible. you oftentimes found peeta smiling to himself on winter mornings, and if you pressed him enough he would confess that he loves when you cling on to him for warmth. he loves waking up to your face smushed into his chest and your cold feet brushing against his.

you tried to ignore the thunder and go back to bed, trying to focus on peeta's breathing, but with the more you thought about it, the harder it was to fall asleep. finally, you decided to give up, you would just have to close the window.

wiggling out of peeta's arms proved to be a much harder task than you thought. "baby, what are you doing?" his voice was groggy and he retightened his hold on you.

"can't sleep, peeta. thunder," you heard him chuckle into your skin, placing a light kiss on your shoulder. "need to close the window," you mumbled.

"ok," he began to loosen his hold on you, you hesitated a second to see if he would protest your decision, but he let you get up. "do you want me to?" you asked peeta.

"if you can't sleep close it, i'll be fine."

"are you sure?"

"i really don't care baby, as long as you can sleep i'm happy." your heart soared at his words, sometimes you wondered how you were able to find someone so great as peeta, he always considered your feelings first and made your life so much brighter with just his presence. and with the way that he was smiling at you, with sincerity in his eyes, you could tell that his kindness was in no way for show. there was so much love in the heart of the baker's boy and you couldn't wait to close the window and get right back in his arms.

He’s insanely protective

He hates when you go places without him because he worries too much

He has his eyes on you when you’re in the same room together, sometimes without even realizing

At the beginning his kisses were hard and rough

He still kisses rough but also with passion

His kisses kind of reflect his emotions.

At the beginning he doesn’t really understand or he doesn’t want to feel these things for you because of how he was brought up

But over time his kisses get more passionate

He kisses hard, like the two of you could not be any closer

His kisses are hard and passionate because when he loves someone he loves them entirely

Again, because of the way he was brought up he’s worried that since he cares for you so much he could lose you

So every kiss kind of feels like a last kiss without it meaning to

If someone didn’t approve of your relationship he’d probably just act like, “Okay, I don’t give a fuck.”

He’s so non-chalant about it too

If you’re eating something he likes he’ll just take some for himself without even asking

And if it really bothers you he won’t do it

But if you’re just saying something like, “You should ask before you take someone else’s food” he’s just shrugs and takes another piece

But if you do it to him he raises an eyebrow at you

He won’t care that much though

He’s very skilled in making out

Jace is most likely the best kisser you’ve ever had

He’s also really skilled with his fingers

He definetly makes a lot of jokes about you being obsessed with him

But everyone knows he’s also obsessed with you

If he loves you, he litterally doesn’t see other girls

If other girls find him attractive it’ll boost his ego but at the same time he doesn’t care

Wouldn’t cheat on you

You own his heart and soul, even if he was mad at you he could never look at another girl the same, not when you exist

Cares about his siblings opinions on you

Especially Alec’s

Alec and Isabelle would def be skeptical about you at first but once they realize how much Jace cares for you they’re willing to give you a chance

And if they end up liking you then that’s the final confirmation that Jace wants you in his life forever

If Jace likes you then he likes you

Jace doesn’t want to imagine a future without you

He fidgets a lot

Dates with him can be fun

He’s an active body and care barely sit still so most of your dates are some sort of physical activity

Or something that requires a lot of walking

He’s the type of person that gets reminded of you everywhere he goes

He sometimes finds it annoying

Other times it can be comforting

He does not want to open up about his traumatic past with anyone, even you

And Jace just doesn’t cry

He probably couldn’t cry if it saved his life

If Jace cried… something awful must of happened

And if he’s upset enough to cry then he gets angry

Sometimes he goes to the piano or the training room if he’s lost in thought

A lot of times you’ll be in the music room doing whatever while Jace works at the piano

He likes your prescence

It comforts him that you’re there because your safe and he just likes that you’re with him

He’s probably not a big hugger

And by that I mean he probably hasn’t hugged anyone in a good year

But he’s fine with that

But he does like getting hugs from his loved ones

He almost never initiates hugs either

He’s a more live in the moment kind of person

He doesn’t enjoy thinking over the past all too much because it stresses him out

And he doesn’t want to worry about the far future either

I wouldn’t say he’s a big cuddled nessacarily

But over time you end up cuddling

But he won’t call it ‘cuddling’

Overall he’s a decent boyfriend

He cares for you and your well-being

But can also be stubborn and lash out

Overtime it decreases because you hold him accountable for it

You are his lover not his parent and you are not going to take care of him like a child

But that doesn’t mean you stop calling him out on his bs

He really respects your opinion and wants you to think highly of him

Something he’s always wanted with others as well but is more communitive about it with you

If the relationship is going to work he knows he needs to be more open

Because it’s not fair or right to you if he expects you to be okay with all his impulse negative emotions that are wrongly directed at you

Magnus even admitted that Jace comes to see him for impromptu therapy sessions

Though Jace definitely doesn’t call them that

He says he asks because Magnus is old and he’s bound to have some good relationship advice

Like every relationship you both still have some communication problems here and there

But the two of you actually end up being a very mature and open couple

Because both of you acknowledged your faults and worked to correct them

Not to mention you have both kind of molded around each other

You still have separate lives of course but you both always have each other in the back of your mind

Your relationship has also somewhat become something to look up to

Because you know these ShadowHunters do not sort out their problems with each other

But Jace has never been the average Shadowhunter either

at the end of the day Jace would sacrifice everything for you

Because that’s what you are to him

And he never fails to show it
