THIS is the kind of take I love to see
Allthough I am Catholic there is something i think is important and needs to be said
I have talked to different people, I have talks to Muslims, Jewish people, other Christians, Pagans, Atheists, Agnostics and even Satanists
And everyone has separate and DEEPLY personal reasons as to why they are the faith they are. Religion and faith is highly personal. The first amendment here in America specifies we are a country with freedom to worship
That includes faiths you may not like or believe in
We can only choose our own path, we can only control ourselves
I believe it's disrespectful to try to control other people's paths, when we know good and well it would upset us if they did the same
as the colder months approach: i wish you all a healthy, calm end of the year. i wish you tasty cups of tea, comfortable clothes, warm beds, nutritious meals in safe homes, good music, new friends and unwavering health. you deserve good things now.

my cat has come to bestow upon you only the finest vibes 💖🌺🐝🐿️💕🪴💐✨🍯💝
Think about why you love your friends. What comes to mind first? It probably isn't things like "I love how they have a job" or "I love how they get good grades." Instead you might be thinking about their compassion, their sense of humor, their perspective, their passion, their values, their mindset/attitude or their intelligence. So don't let yourself or anyone else reduce your worth to your productivity alone. We're all far more than that!
The basic, biological ingredients for well-being that our ancestors built into their lifestyles are missing from modern life. Strong relationships, sense of community and purpose, sunlight, exercise, diet, and balanced thinking patterns must be taken seriously.
Aspects of our culture/modern life furthermore set us up for sacrificing these in favour of patterns that facilitate consumerism (staying inside and watching netflix, eating processed foods, isolating ourselves, forming a worldview through social media, anxiously comparing ourselves to others).
