Yeah, true. I would suggest actually balancing the fandom by making both canon and oc content. Trends will die eventually, but it doesn't mean that OCs should go away (and I am not saying this as a LOTF OC creator to have a bias). I just think OCs should be asked about canon stuff and maybe mix more canon-content in their lore. I do it a lot with Norman, and I am actually genuinely excited and HOPING for people to ask anything about that.

TLDR: Balance it by making oc canon-adjacent content.

You don't have to do this, though. I advise taking a break, because otherwise no one will look at your content if it becomes a routine anyways/lh/nf

team im gonna be so honest guys, even though i myself have put out some lotf oc stuff, theres lowkey a bit much of it and it kinda feels like the tumblr fandom is just mass-producing ocs and they feel less genuine /lh

Well, to say I trust anyone on this island is a bit of an overstatement. Sure I trust Norman buuuut, not with my life! Or secrets!! He's not quite there yet. Not even Michael's there yet. Or Mary! Which isn't to say I don't like them! I just know people are more likely to let something important slip than a fly. Or a couple thousand flies.

So I guess someone I could...tell and wouldn't tattle would be nice. I mean, from what I can tell nobody else on the island reeeeaaally likes you that much. And nobody really liked me back at home. I'm used to being alone and talking to people like you! They don't tattle at all!

As for your thoughts on Norman...why doesn't everyone on this island dislike him so much?? He's quite nice if you talk to him! Hmm. I suppose many like to look and judge before actually trying to learn.
