Because Kubo knows Ichigo would never fucking abandon them and would probably become a fucking super villain if he actually was forced to never see the people he bothered to become a Soul Reaper for in the first place again.

So yeah.

If Orihime is still technically apart of hive mind, then we missed out on some interesting dynamics with her, Nelliel, Grimmjow, Harrible and the remaining Fracción in Hueco Mundo.

Thank you!! We don’t really know the full details of what happened with Aizen and Orihime, after the arc ended it wasn’t brought up again, but if something did happen, I’m sure it will be readdressed in this final arc. Otherwise it’s just a plothole
