sirius was lounging in his chair at his ease, tilting it back on two legs. he was very good-looking, his dark hair fell into his eyes with a sort of casual elegance neither james’s nor harry’s could ever have achieved, and a girl sitting behind him was eyeing him hopefully, though he didn’t seem to have noticed.

Dear Remus,

I’m reduced to a thing that only wants you. I've never told you, but it doesn’t make it any less real. I’m in love with you. I’ve been for three years. I hate myself for it, but i’m so in love. Stupid, unbearable love.

I tried to make it go away,

Please forgive me. I never wanted to lose you. I’ve always held our friendship dear, but i couldn’t fight my feelings any longer. That’s why i’m composing this letter to you, in these sleepless hours of the night. My heart feels heavy, i’m so scared. The gravity of my love for you drowns me in a precipice of ecstasy, dreaming of you. I miss you, in a simple desperate human way.

The marauders made a big fuss on birthdays

Until Sirius asked McGonnagal

She told them because they were super annoying

Remus wakes up on his birthday thinking it would be a normal day

Instead wakes up to his friends holding balloons, gifts and a sign that said “Happy Birthday Remu”

They blamed James

Remus was utterly shocked at his friends

Tries convincing them today is not his birthday and they shouldn’t celebrate

“Nonsense. This is gonna be LEGENDARY”

They sing him happy birthday in the Great Hall too

And whenever they come into each other in the halls

And at dinner

To end the day they sneak out past midnight to the astrology tower

They gift Remus a cake (It said again “Remu”)

Remus goes to bed so happy because he has the best friends ever
