“I’m so stupid,” Steve whispers. “How did I not know? She’s my girlfriend, for God’s sake. I’ve been with her for almost a year, and I couldn’t tell that she was in pain? What kind of boyfriend am I?”

“It’s not your fault, Steve,” Nancy assures. “She didn’t tell anyone. She hid it well. She didn’t want you to know.”

Steve sighs and looks back at your sleeping figure. He knows Nancy is right, but it still shatters his heart. He devoted all his time to being the best boyfriend he could, especially after the mistakes he made with Nancy. He thought he did everything right, but since Vecna appeared, he found out he didn’t.

What Anakin Skywalker Does for Valentine’s Day (blurbs)

alright let’s talk about anakin. he would completely go over the top with you. like, i’m talking sneaking on a ship and flying to naboo type of over the top. he’d lie to the council and tell them he’s going on an undercover spy mission with you so that neither of you would have to worry about anything.

he would treat you like an absolute princess. he’d probably try his hand at surprising you with a big huge breakfast or dinner, and fail miserably since he can’t cook and end up needing your help which makes it all the more cute 🥰

you’d be like “anakin, you don’t have to go over the top like this...” and he’d just be like “no! i want to!” and be adamant about it. which is annoying, but he’s so cute you let it slide.

after the dinner or breakfast (or fuck it, even both) he’d probably take you out to the naboo shops and buy you as many things as he can. and you’d object but hed insist, and you’d end up coming home with bags worth of clothes and jewelry that you’ll have to find a way to sneak back home.

“anakin, i’m a jedi. i can’t have these many things.”

“we’ll find a way, my love.”

he would totally take you to the beach, too. after all, you found a hella cute swimsuit and he definitely wanted to see it in action 👀 so he took you to the beaches.

you’d get all shy at first, but the moment he takes his robes off and is just in shorts, you jump out of your robe and rush into the water, loving how intense his gaze on you is.

he’d scoop you up and rush into the water with you, laughing at how desperately youre trying to get him to drop you.

“drop you? okay!”

“ANAKIN, NOT LIKE THAT—!” youd scream as he dropped you in the ocean, laughing his ass off.

hed help you back up and scoop you up into a passionate kiss, pressed firmly against his wet chest as you entangle yourself fingers through his darkened, curly wet hair.

he’d cheekily move his hand down against your ass and you’d squeal, pushing him off as you smacked his chest, “not in public, anakin!”

“your blushing face tells me otherwise, i think you liked that.”

after wrangling him back home, you ran to get changed into a cute sundress as he prepared a movie and snacks for you in the very grand hotel room he rented out for the weekend. you’d come out with your hair in a high ponytail and he’d turn and just stop, grinning, “you’re so beautiful, honey. c’mere.”

he’d pull on your wrist and pull you right to his chest as you giggle, then he’d kiss you slowly and deeply as he pulled you into a dip kiss. he’d smoothly pull you onto the bed and roll so you’d be on top of him and he’d grin, “gotcha.”

you’d hit his chest playfully and peck his lips one more time, before turning to watch the movie he picked out. which, knowing him, he’d see something cute and not watch the trailer and it would end up being a very graphic, dark sexy movie.

your eyes would widen when a sex scene came on snd youd bit your lip, burying your head in his neck, “anakin! why’d you pick this?!”

“i didn’t know! it looked cute!” he’d laugh loudly, keeping his gaze on you and the tv as he got ideas for a very passionate night.

and lets be real. would it really be valentine’s day without some skywalker dick? no. no it wouldn’t.

right after that movie his hands would be all over you — scratch that, during the movie his hands would be all over you. youd end up turning it off early since the kisses on your neck weren’t helping your situation at all.

“Ani—“

“dont speak. let me make love to you, baby.”

your heart would race, since normally anakin was rough and fast with you — but just by his words alone you knew he was going to be slow and passionate, and completely caring.

and god were you right. he hadn’t held you so delicately in so long, it was so comforting...

he’d constantly be praising you likr he always would, but his tone was so soft it sent chills through your body in ways they hadn’t before.

his thrusts... god. slow and deep.

sometimes it was hard for you to believe that you were this lucky, that anakin loved you this much... everything felt unreal.

he’d kiss you deeply and mutter “i love you, y/n,” against your lips, making your whole body melt.

overall, valentine’s day with anakin would be one of the best days ever. he loves you so much snd he would do anything to make you smile and feel loved.
