I feel like a Shellfur novella/graphic novel would be neat in order to explore his conservative upbringing and how his brother’s rebellious actions and falling in love with Fernstripe probably caused him to re-evaluate the views he had been brought up with. It also wouldn’t hurt to get to know his sisters better, they’ve barely done anything so far.

i like to think if the books were well written dovewing would recognize sunbeam is in a similar situation she was in with bumblestripe (a tom chasing after her for her affections when it's unrequited on sunbeam's part- at least for now from the excerpt) and have a talk to her about what she wants out of this situation, does she need tigerstar and cloverfoot to step in and send nightheart home, how long has nightheart been claiming to be her mate, etc. like maybe it's too early to say its wishful thinking when the book isn't out yet but god i hope at least ONE cat noticed how uncomfortable sunbeam was with him and asks if she's okay with what's going on and dovewing would be one of the best canidates for that.

truly i think squirrelflight probably has severe anxiety from both of her relationships w ashfur and brambleclaw…..like We Know This but truthfully i think the fact that she had these two dudes constantly projecting their insecurities onto her and misinterpreting whatever she said to be held against her, and holding her responsible for their shortcomings….i rly think she has a hard time getting closer to new cats esp new toms bc of them

This was fun to draw! Love da expressions and chaos in a single picture, Shadowsight and Sunbeam are pda, Lightleap is loosing her shit. Blazefire has mixed feelings, Berryheart is also loosing her shit, her husband Sparrowtail is try to calm her down while Gullswoop is invested! And poor tiger & dove don't know what to do, and at last, Spireclaw is cheering for his sister with his supportive girlfriend fringewhisker.

on top of more kittypets being named after food i also want something like this to happen; edgy warrior marries stupid kittypet
