Good day Kens and Barbies and Alans! I've finally figured out how to embed podcasts into the post aahaha
Anyway today we talk about the summer extravaganza that was the Barbie movie. From sneak peeks to announcements, casting choices and plot, to all the promotional goodies that were released before and after the movie.
As a last hurrah to the shows of yesteryear, we decided to sit down and pin down our favourite media from 2023.
The categories are as follows:
Song
Video game
Tv-show
Anime /Manga
Movie
Its a good exercise i in my opinion! You get to look back on what things you found time for to enjoy, and compare the positives and negatives - it makes so that each tv show or manga sticks longer in your memory.
Its funny we didnt add podcasts to our list, since i personally got to enjoy so many this year. Maybe a sugestion for 2024? Who knows :P
And for an addendum, Pikmin 4 kicks ass and would have definetly made the list if i had spent more time on it. Fredrik has already 100% it as well hahah.
for a change of pace, below is the link to the ep on Spotify:
Jack it into my veins babyy!!!!
This site: What the fuck is with all these animated shows getting terrible live-action remakes? We should start remaking live action media as cartoons to balance the scales.
The monkey's paw: *curls one finger*
We are finally on tumblr! And the vibes seem swell so far.
Im (as in Karol) will run our account, announce new episodes and periodically upload some extra behind the scenes tidbits and stuffs.
The asks are also open, so feel free to shoot us anything you wanna share!
XOXOXO! //Karol
Fredrik convinced me to read tokyo ghoul and since then i spent 3 manic days reading the dang story. ITS SOO Good why did i ever leave this series alone.
Also some of the boys do be hot ngl, but that might just be my preference for old man yaoi ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
This week on the pod!
We are back to discussing things dear to our heart, like the newly released Lies of P ( which is suprisingly good!), How DLC and MMO's could fall to the wayside with sunsetting of online services, and the amazing How i Met your Father and its abundant girlfailure energy.
Nandermo + textpost 5/?
by the way, it’s real bold of hollywood to be like “the writers and actors have unrealistic expectations, but WE know what we’re doing” when they got tricked into releasing morbius in theaters a second time.
