To Kill A Mocking Bird By Harper Lee

To Kill A Mocking Bird By Harper Lee

"Shoot all the blue jays you want,if you can hit'em, but remember it's a sin to kill a mocking bird"

This book throws light on various topics like prejudice, racism, civil rights, gender roles, perception, integrity without discussing them explicitly yet showing us a way to comprehend all of the topics and their effects on society.

The events take place in Maycomb, Alabama around the 1930s. It is as seen through the eyes of Scott Finch, a young bright girl of 6, inquisitive and brave to say the least. The book has the power to connect with the reader at a deeper level and help change the perspective on how one sees the world and the people in it.

šŸ“šSummer Studying Challenge šŸ“š

August 8 2021: What books are you currently reading?

Yesterday I started reading 1984 by George Orwell. But I have also started two other books namely 'Men of Mathematics' by E.T.Bell and 'Music Of Primes' by Marcus du Sautoy.I have also decided to buy Anna karenina by Tolstoy after reading a post about it by @theclassicalmind.

Hey everyone! For the past few days (and since I found out about energy management) I’ve actually been super productive and getting all my work done! It’s very satisfying tbh. And I’ve already started planning out my senior year again. I’m aiming for all A’s this semester! And it’s gonna be difficult because all of my courses are either honor level, accelerated honor level or college level courses because of the school I go to (besides stuff like PE, student life courses, etc) but I’m confident that I can do it! :)

16th July - Do you have any summer traditions?

I usually travel out of the country each summer, but COVID -_-

Mathematician And Theoretical Physicist Theodor Kaluza ( Left) And Theoretical Physicist Oscar Klein

Mathematician and theoretical physicist Theodor Kaluza ( left) and theoretical physicist Oscar Klein who formulated the Kaluza-klein theory (kk theory) which is a classical unified theory of gravitation and electromagnetism built by formulating Einstein's field equations in five dimensions, considered an important precursor to string theory.

The original hypothesis came from Kaluza who sent his results in a letter to Einstein in 1919 and published his results in 1921. Kaluza presented a purely classical extension of general relativity to five dimensions with a metric tensor of 15 components ( 10 associated with 4 dimensional spacetime metric, 4 associated with electromagnetic vector potential and 1 representing a scalar field)

Oscar klein gave Kaluza's classical five dimensional theory a quantum interpretation by suggesting that the fifth dimension was curled up and microscopic to explain the cylinder condition and it's geometry could take the form of a circle of radius 10⁻³⁰

Heya!!

Heya!!

So today I just revised the first four easy chapters of analysis 1 and then I started chapter 12 (Analysis 1).Chapter 12 is about tests for convergent series like the leibinz test for alternating series, comparison tests (there are two of them) and a lot more which I will be doing tomorrow.I am feeling very tired today.I didn’t even do much.I just had 2 hours of statistics exam and have been feeling tired ever since.Maybe I did not rest enough after the exam or maybe I just have to go and sleep now.

I did place an order for some multivitamin pills though. This is the first time I’ll be using the brand so let’s just see how that goes and apart from that I telephoned two of my school teachers. Here in India it’s guru Poornima (Basically Teacher’s Day according to the Hindu calendar) and it was lovely talking to them.I really do miss them a lot.I also put a sheet mask on in the evening hoping that it’ll make me feel better. It did but I’m still tired so I’m just gonna go sleep.

Aww look at you cutie reading everything hehe I hope your day went better^_^

See you tomorrow <3

🌿What would be your perfect summer day? 🌿

Wake up late, have a light breakfast, pack a good lunch and go to a nearby scenic water place with my family. My family includes my parents,my cousins,my uncles and aunts.Eat a ton of fruits, play a lot of games, make a truck load of memories and fall asleep on my mommy's shoulder in the car on the way back home.

Heya!!

Heya!!

Today I revised all the topics I covered in Analysis 1 so far and did chapter 8 and 9.

Chapter 8 is about the algebra of limits. In there I learnt how to write proofs using ε-N method. There were quite a number of cases (with examples!).Most of them were good and could be deduced easily from previous theorems and axioms but I did find 4 proofs a little challenging.I have noted them down and I’ll be discussing those with my prof soon.

Chapter 9 was about monotonic sequences. In there I learnt about the monotonic sequence theorem and the proof of this theorem is very cute. This theorem's proof is very intresting because it connects to the theorem where square root of 2 is proved as irrational but it is more general. So it patches all the gaps on the real number line quit nicely. There were some examples too which I liked and I also learnt the steps of proving a theorem when monotonicity is involved.

It was a pretty cool day.

I hope you had a good day too^_^

Heya! I Finished Chapter 12 Of Analysis 1.It Was I Think The Toughest Chapter So Far But It's Not That

Heya! I finished chapter 12 of Analysis 1.It was I think the toughest chapter so far but it's not that tough that I'll loose my sleep over it.I also got the above book from Amazon today. The title is sexist but so is history šŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™€ļøI started from the last chapter and made some notes on it.I also revised chapter 8 today.Otherthan that it was a pretty chill day.I also answered an ask on Tumblr.I thought it was important to answer the question correctly and so I tried to the best of my ability 🐰

Now Nighty Nighty you guys

I hope you had a good day <3

Quantum Notes - Time-Dependent Schrƶdinger Equation

Back at the notes this morning after a chilled weekend; I’m hoping to finish quantum today, as the quicker I make my way through notes and flashcards and onto proper practising, the better - fingers crossed for a productive day :)

[8.08 am] Just finished revising all the vector calculus that I have done so far. I will do 10 more pages of vector calculus today. Just praying to God that this day goes well.

***

[12.29] I studied vector calculus for an hour and so done with it for today. I will later check out Paul's online notes to see if I can use them for my next two chapters. But for now, I'll watch a movie.

***

[10.18] I completed three chapters of analysis 1.Omgggg.I was listening to some om chantings in the afternoon because I was getting stressed. It did help and made my day go so much better. I still haven't figured out how I will remember the proofs. I understand them and only vaguely reconstruct them. I just have to remember that I don't need to stress about it. I'll eventually get to know about it. If you guys know how to do it then please let me know <3
