Hunter isn't my favorite (he's a cool character with cool development, I'm just drawn to other characters more) but I absolutely LOVE the portrayal of abuse and trauma through him and how it's handled so well and so realistically. I absolutely adore realism, especially in cartoons (especially kids cartoons like it's great man) and I just love how real all of it feels. His reactions are nothing less than understandable and even if you don't relate to what he's going through you can understand. And the fact that he's a fictional character too and yet feels so realistic. This applies to so many cartoon characters, especially the characters on TOH, but Hunter is one of the best examples.

Even if you don't personally like Hunter, we can not ignore how realistic the representation of abuse, trauma response, etc. is when it comes to Hunter. As someone who is a victim of abuse, gaslighting, etc. and was also semi sheltered growing up, Hunter's demeanor and way of thinking is spot on (at least from my experience. it's important to note that one abuse experience isn't universal. This is why I think it's amazing that owl house has three different abuse victims).

It feels validating to have that shown on screen and not taunted or even done away with the next episode. Also appreciate the accurate representation of panic attacks

I'd like to add to this cause I have personal experience but my dad is one of the smartest people I know. He used to be a psychology Professor in Hawaii, he knows multiple languages, has multiple degrees in a ton of different subjects, and he was a pilot. Now he has dementia from falling down the stairs and hitting his head. He struggles to tell me apart from his sister (who passed away a few years ago), constantly believes someone who he knew who's now deceased is still alive and he talked to them yesterday, and he needs medication every few hours to keep him stable. Take care of your health in your youth, and prepare for your health to decline slowly or quickly as you age.

I can't donate so I'll help by using the little medical knowledge I have. The rash looks to be contact dermatitis, which happens when the skin comes into contact with an irritant. Nothing serious, but I'm no doctor and it could be something else. If it is contact dermatitis, any moisturizer will help soothe it, and applying cold compresses can help with the inflammation (and also to soothe it a bit)
