ACES!
I found some cool purple tie-dye thread and decided to make a set of subtle ace pride patches!
Recently, I’ve been playing with the idea of hiding messages in art. This is a quote from my writing project:
Blue text: “Do you ever wonder, Ardan, how a story ends?”
Red text (response): “I’ll write my own damn destiny.”
Flourishing with Posca markers!
ID under the cut:
[ID: two pictures of brightly colored calligraphy. The first says “Equia” in orange ink. The capital E is elaborately flourished, and the rest of the word is decorated as well. The second picture shows three calligraphy pieces: “Anikka” in dark blue and purple, “Nitya” in light green and light blue, and “Lucy” in light and dark green. The last two are decorated with paisley patterns in their accent colors. END ID]
Bi pride d20 for a commission!
[ ID: A homemade white felt patch in the shape of a hexagon. It is embroidered with the pink, purple, and blue colors of the pan pride flag, in a multi-color strand design, to give the hexagon the dimensions of a 20-sided gaming die. The center triangle is stitched with a purple 20, and the rest of the hexagon is filled with scattered knots, creating the stripes of the flag. END ID ]
Thanks for adding an ID! I’ll try to get better about that going forward.
Aro pride! You don’t need anyone else to complete you; you are already wonderful.
The first in what will hopefully be a series of platonic love song calligraphy pieces!
Please send me song recs, these are hard to find! (Bonus points if the song is explicitly written for a friend or family member.)
[ID: song lyrics written out in purple and blue. It reads:
“From Poprocks & Coke - Green Day:
I don’t care if you don’t mind / I’ll be there, not far behind / I will dare, keep in mind / I’ll be there for you.”
The line “I’ll be there for you” is done in flourished calligraphy, the rest in all-caps lettering. The border is decorated with blue hearts and lightning bolts.]
Pins for my writer friends!
ID under the cut:
[ID: two near-identical circular pins. They read: “novel in progress”. A loading bar, just over halfway full, divides the pins across the middle. The bar is colored red on one pin and purple on the other. The word ‘novel’ is written above the loading bar in fancy script; the other words are written below the bar in simple all-caps lettering. END ID]
