me after rendering metal that literally no one will see unless they zoom in

learned some stuff too i love blending but I gotta leave some stuff sharp

as usual, added a bunch of colours and orange-ified him

i genuinely add so much orange i just love warmth i NEED the skin to look well oxygenated man that's all

i genuinely love drawing it's my passion i'd actually love to spend all day drawing

love the blend brush sm i know i've said that a million times but I like the texture and you can literally see my brush strokes that's so cool

my steven universe obsession was crazy i mean I lived breathed slept steven universe i have very few OCs from this time period cuz literally all my art and MULTIPLE SKETCHBOOKS were just filled with steven universe

posting this cuz i recently found a goldmine of old art from my old account I managed to save it even tho the account got deleted by the school after I left elementary

can you tell i REALLY couldnt draw hands or no

still working on redrawing all my OCs but its taking longer cuz I have so many freaking paragraphs to write I hate essays

gonna just see a jump from 10 years old to like 12 years old lol again cuz of my insane steven universe obsession

i still absolutely LOVE su it has a special place in my heart but I'm not this crazy anymore although it def has influenced some of my character designs and stories ngl

my SUPER old OCs (gonna be drawing as many of them as I can this week) these are from when I was around 9 or so (if you can't tell lol) my plan is to include every old OC and plotline I have ever made into my current comic, so... we're gonna have to figure out how to incorporate these ppl lol

man i LOVED stripes and patterns and colours... lowkey I still do

i'm trying to make their designs better but still keeping them as similar to the original version as possible

a lot of these are either white or east asian... def just copied the demographics of my elementary school lol

mfw the half fox half demon half angel princess warrior OC walks in

doing full bodies to make sure i know how to draw their whole design and also to practise posing and anatomy cuz I NEVER draw full bodies even though I probably should

these take like half an hour each and i usually have a minimal sketch plus just draw it in one go so it's not as clean or perfect I'm just trying to aim for quantity because my main focus is really just design and drawing them in my current art style

i think i've mentioned this before... but here is the FIRST depiction I've ever made of puma guy. i kid you not this is his original first design (I always intended him to be a human but I feel like a lot of the design elements for him make sense once you see this lol)

it's... its really bad ok theres a reason i draw instead of sew, obv pattern is not mine but I made this in a sewing class so if anyone knows the original pattern let me know, mine def looks warped compared to the original tho

honestly it was literally just for fun I just chose cloth patterns I liked, but who would know it would lead to this..

literally dont look at the stitches its all hand sewn I didn't use a sewing machine so its really uneven and janky

his shirt is literally a square piece of cloth that's kinda folded on the edges I didn't put any effort into it

i literally finished making this plushy and then I just had a vision flash in my head of him looking super cool... literally all my character designs come from just... images that pop into my head spontaneously

imagining his reaction lol

this actually looks fine even though i literally played badminton for 1 and a half hours straight and my arm hurts and is so weak rn

omg... new blend brush in magma is INCREDIBLE

it saves so much time omg this took 2 HOURS this looks like it took more than my usual 4 hours, im shocked rendering hair and doing lineless art is actually easy now??

also i ate with my colours look at that classic warm highlights cool shadows style

i use so much less layers too... i cant understand how i did digital art for so long without a blend brush
