So I decided to watercolor tonight and because what I originally worked on did not really work out well because of my crappy paints, I decided to take a loead off and finally do some Undertale art First on is of Papayrus in the Reverse Undertale AU and Papyrus is using Sans' telescope to look at the stars in the cave. Second is @rotten-tears Mega-brother which I found out about thanks to @thelostmoongazer The Fusion of Papyrus and Sans is saying (papyrus' side) "Sans THIS is why you're so depressed!? Why didn't you tell me!!??" I just kinda figured that when they are fused, they would not only share emotions but thoughts, to Sans' dismay.
Just some updates of the Beastie I've been working on. I'm so close to being done it hurts. So close. This guy's has been a fun project and learning experience in using ink, so I'm excited for my next project, which is even more detailed. Art © Ari Mortensen
I decided that I will start going through my entire sketchbook that I got 5 months ago. I’ve grown quite a lot from when I first got it, so you will all probably see my art style transforming and getting better. I’ve focused mainly on getting more detailed. Also due to all the stealing of art on the web, I’ll only be posting with some sort of watermark. Sorry😤
Edit: Sorry for quality of photo. Using my phone camera which sucks so.....
A beastie I created for myself and partially for my IB art portfolio. As my first time working seriously in India Ink, I must say, it was quite an entertaining little beast. Hard to get used to holding the pens tho. They're so different from what I'm used to. Also, I just started working in Medibang Paint Pro, so if any of you have tips on how to crop an image, and how to create a watermark without having to make the watermark as a brush first (because there is a size limit to the brushes) I would greatly appreciate it. I plan on switching over to Photoshop soon, but as of this moment, Medibang is the free option so Imma stick to that for a while.
Here's this week's monster posting. I decided that this year would be the year where I branch out into different monsters, along with learning anatomy, so here's a more upper body musculature study. I'm still learning so sorry for any anatomy problems. Or foreshortening probs for that matter. I'm also trying to learn that... So much to learn, feels like so little time....
Inktober 2018 Day 8
“Star”
To be honest, I attempted this one twice, but I hated the first attempt because its was waaaaayyy too dark. It kinda got my spirits down, so I just kinda gave up for this day and did this which was much easier.
Inktober 2018 Day 10
“Flowing”
I seem to have a thing for drool XD. It’s just so much fun to draw creatures losing all of their bodily fluid... or something like that.

“Expensive”
Cool plants are always dang expensive, so I drew and orchid. These guys are so cool and I would love to own one, but I always find conflicting information on how to water them so that they will actually live. Plus idk if they would like the temperatures of where I live.
Got a little to eager with my brush when the india ink wasn’t quite dry so it smudged DX.

Inktober 2018 Day 19
“Scorched”
I always like seeing process pics, so have the sketch and the completed piece. I actually really like this one, even though its been a few days since I drew this one. Yay for me XD

This piece (my baby) right here is my pride and joy of my 2016-2017 school year. She took about 50 hours trying to get the right shades for the fur and greens surrounding the bull, but I would do it again for the pay out. A lot of the reason why it probably took so long though is that the watercolors I was using were crappy, but I didn't want to switch out in the middle of it or risk inconsistencies through the piece in the watercolor texture. So I just made do and struggled with the watercolor paints that I had. I had to use some shades of acrylic paints in order to get the vibrant colors that I wanted, like greens and yellows, and some white for the fur, along with using india ink to get the darks I wanted. Most of it was done in watercolor though. Ah well, live and let learn yet again. This one was most definitely a learning experience.
Inktober 2018 Day 21
“Drain”
HE’S NOT DOING DRUGS. He just had surgery and I guess cat-people have different vein placement than us, so the IV was put there and not in his hand. I didn’t quite get the pose correct, he’s supposed to be more slouched, but eh I still like it.
