And here's the other
Attack No. 4: Mateo by AaronXL
And now as I was scrolling through my older posts, I realised what my mistake here was ... I think the pacing of the animation is completley off. He's falling way too fast ... it feels weird. Maybe if I find the file I could try to continue ...
I am trying to animate again :D
but nothing too big this time.
I was thinking about, how one of my OC's powers would work, and I had a little idea for a loop (after watching a sick fighting animation on Youtube, just that I couldn't figure out how to make something like that, so I'll just make a loop)
Anyway, I wanted to animate my OC Kael (Guardian of Time) and even with the keyframes, I am already impressed with how that looks.
Sneak peek below :D but don't expect too much
Note: Roughing it out, setting basic proportions, and so on ... I don't know if my timings are fine or if I need to tweak something about it ...
More sneak peek
I'm currently really pushing through. Also realised, I don't use any in-betweens by now XD (at least for now, but the animation feels fluid enough) AND I also needed to figure out the rest of the character design. I guess for now, I have something I might stick with, but this could change in the end or become more detailed.
AND NOW I FINALLY REALIZED WHY A CERTAIN PART LOOKED WEIRD!!! I copied the pose right as he turns around and forgot to change the legs so suddenly they were swapped.
And now I am realising that this might take some more brain power to fix, than just change that one frame ................
I think, I fixed it ... I guess it was not that visible from the beginning anyway ... just the feeling that was bugging me.
Well, it's still wrong and feels wrong. But this clearly takes more brain capacity than I currently have left. Guess I'll roughly animate the rest and continue hopefully tomorrow.
So, current state for today: (and yes, I still need to fix that stupid frame, or isn't it even noticeable?)
After the last picture I drew, I wanted to draw that kind of eyes again and I think they look amazing 🤩 and it's actually quite simple to draw them like that (if you know what you are doing, of course 😂).
More redraws of MHA screencaps pt.2
Hey, I'm lostvi21 and currently Hobby-Artist and Storywriter.
Things I like are the Undertale Fandom and the MC Life Series.
If you want to ask me something, I would be happy to answer 😊
If you want, feel free to visit my devianart:
Damn, replicating that pose in big was difficult. And the hand! I just couldn't get it right. It finally ended in me doing a second sketch but I kept trying to draw that hand over the old one and got it right but couldn't get it right on the new one. So, I cut it out and laid it on top.
And now, I think this looks so much cooler, that I'll keep the hand drawn on a separate layer.
Okay I made a sick sketch
It's tiny (like on the corner of my sketchbook) but I saw that pose and I was thinking like, okay this is EXACTLY how it looks when he uses his quirk so I scribbled down the pose and then drew him.
I want to make that in big. With markers. And maybe even make a background. And hang it on the wall to Kirishima and Denki.
And I was also thinking of something funny. The way he would describe how he fights with his quirk:
I can use my quirk as a weapon. Just think of it ... like a table. A table isn't dangerous, right? Then you accidentally drop something beneath it, try to pick it up and while getting back up you hit your head against the table. Although, it's just a table, it still hurts, right?
(I'm not sure if I'll allow him to reshape his forcefields but if I do, he would add:
Now imagine the table being a spikey pyramid...)
Tadaaa! Lineart is done! Now I need to draw in the shadows and start coloring.
Here the links for the finished piece and the sketch.
Jupp, we're getting there.
Still need to get a name for him...
Note: My place is currently such a mess. Shreds of paper everywhere.
And I can't stop moving the hand in all different positions. Now I've realized that the way I drew it, it is similar to that one scene where Katsuki and Shoto make those stupid cute anime faces. That scene made me laugh for over a minute.

Some time ago (It was only a couple of weeks, beginning of July) I played around a little with game developing. (Well yes. I am doing a lot because I cannot decide what I like the most.)
I just copied a player script from the Godot website and tried that a little. Then I copy pasted some Luigi-textures to represent the character sprites and it felt fun.
Next step, I wanted to make my own textures for a character but had no idea where really to start, so I started making the basic skeleton model in pixel art. (currently just 4-directional but I'll bother to add the other directions later. And I currently have no animations, just the model facing all 4 sides.)
Currently, I am trying to make a character sheet for one of my OCs from my story "In-Between" and of course, I'm struggling with that for unexplainable reasons. (as always)
BUT I just opened up a music video with a pixel-art-thumbnail and I was like, some time ago, I did something like that, didn't I? So, I went back to my old files and opened up my template and started causually painting out my character and OH BOY, THAT LOOKS GOOD AND I HAVEN'T EVEN STARTED SHADING YET!
And yeah, I didn't do the face yet XD
And here the old concept I based it on. I think I just changed the hair.
And some more information about him:
That's Blake, Guardian of Time. He can manipulate how time works for certain objects or living beings. Also, he can time travel but he's being careful with his powers since he's trying to avoid creating paradox timelines.
I wanted to write something more about his duty, but figured I have no idea why he needs to guard the time. I was just like, someone needs to make sure that we have no spacial interference between worlds. Why not add timelines to the mix? Blake was born.
I finally finished the next chapter 😁 took me too long 😂
I finally figured out what I hated about this chapter and now it's alright to me 😂 guess I'll blame it on character growth ...

We teleported straight back to my room. Just by now, I realised how dark it was in here. I opened up another terminal to change the time outside to daytime. But now in the light, the room seemed pretty empty. I decided that this wasn't worth to worry about now. Ike looked wide-eyed around the room until he noticed my circular desk in the middle. He pointed excitedly at my chair, "Is … Is that thing floating?! Can I sit down?! Please, please, please …" His excitement made me smile, "I mean sure, if you want to …"
Before I finished that sentence, he already run towards the chair, jumping onto it and floating a couple of meters further until it bounced off the wall. Next, he turned his attention towards my window. He walked over there looking at the horizon, "So, you live here … This is amazing!" I joined him. I was not sure if I should tell him that this was fake ...
As much as I wanted Ike to enjoy himself a little longer, I also needed to figure out what happened. I asked him hesitantly, "… Would you mind telling me, what else you remember before passing out?" His expression changed to a sad gaze to the floor, "I … I was running back through Snowdin but it was awfully quiet ... Then I got attacked." I already had a suspicion, "Let me guess. The attacker was looking like Sans but something about him was different."
He looked at me, "I … I'm not sure … Wait, from where do you know Sans?!" … I spent so much time on my own, that I completely forgot that there were AUs which are not familiar with the concept of the multiverse. I tried to explain, "I probably know another Sans than you do … " In response, he just looked confused at me.
I continued, "So you never heard of the multiverse before?" His expression stayed unchanged and he carefully shook his head. I walked back to the desk and opened a couple of screens showing different AUs. Ike quickly followed me and watched excited the screens. I explained, "These are all alternate universes. That means these are all worlds which are coexisting with yours. Some of them might be completely different to yours and some of them quite similar."
All that I could hear from him was a silent, "Coooool!", as his eyes stuck to the screens. I was certain that he still had no idea what I was talking about. Looking at his gaze wandering from one AU to another, I was thinking about how peculiar he acted. Ike really seemed like a harmless child excited by everything new he saw. But his stats didn't match this at all. It was highly frustrating that I didn't know what was going on with that boy.
But the way his world looked after the destruction … that terrified me even more. The lack of … of anything. Usually after destruction, there's always something left, some traces of code which weren't entirely removed. I always like to call them the 'core' of a world. But his world … it looked exactly like mine. Clean. Empty. Nothing …
I suddenly realised that I unconsciously clenched my hand into a fist. I opened it up stretching my fingers out. I shouldn't be thinking about that right now. There's no use to get entangled in old memories … Ike looked at me, tilting his head to the side, "Uhm … Are you all right? You have been staring at me for … " I shook it off, "Yeah! I … I was just lost in thought. That's all … "
Well, that was awkward. To break the silence, I refocused back on the topic, "… That means you don't know who attacked you?" His gaze lowered while he was shaking his head. By now, I still didn't know how his world got destroyed. There were too many scattered clues which simply didn't make any sense.
First off, there was that white light, that probably started shining as the AU got destroyed. Secondly, there was his completely emptied AU. And last, there was Ike, who was strangely the only thing left. Adding to that, his behaviour didn't reflect his stats in the slightest and I just noticed that his HP by now dropped a significant amount. Also, he was telling me of someone attacking the AU. I just couldn't be sure if he was telling the truth but I also doubted that he would be lying in his situation.
I leaned onto the table thinking loudly, "… to be honest, I still don't have a clue what is going on. There are too many factors which I am still not able to piece together. It will probably take some longer to be able to conceive the situation entirely … " Now I was left with one single question. What was I supposed to do now? I had no idea where to start …
Then I suddenly stopped. Why was I even doing that? I didn't need to help him. I could just send him back to his AU. His HP were still decreasing, so he would die there anyway, right? … That was cruel. I felt horrible for even considering that option. God, I should have left as I still had the chance to! Now I can't leave him alone like that …
Maybe I can find somebody else who can help him. The first person to come to my mind was Core, who once came over to invite me to the Omega timeline. It is widely known as a safe haven along AUs. I'm sure they would help him …
As I looked up at Ike again, I was reminded by his stats that this wouldn't be that simple. He was a genocider. No matter how he acted, I couldn't bring a genocider to the only safe place in the multiverse. But did I have any other options? Sadly, I didn't know too many people around the multiverse since I kept it mostly to myself after … No.
No, no, no, no. I would NEVER ask HIM for help. I'd rather lock myself for eternity in that white hell I once called home than ask INK for help. He's reckless and he doesn't care about any of the AUs! Claiming to be the guardian of the multiverse … More like a wandering target plunging them into being destroyed …
I took a deep breath. No matter how mad I was at Ink, he was probably my only option. I didn't know anyone else. I exhaled with a sigh, now turning my attention towards Ike again, "I guess for now, you can stay here. I know someone, who might be able to help you… I just need to find him."
He nodded at me, "Okay. Can I keep watching worlds? This is so cool … " I smiled, "Sure. Feel yourself at home." He excitedly got the floating chair and sat down in front of the holograms.
I opened up another terminal, trying to figure out where Ink was.
