I'm watching "That's Show Biz-Part 1" rn and I would recognize those hip movements anywhere. Welcome to the 4077 Gwen!!
So sorry to keep going on about Doctor Who but I find it really interesting in the revival era (2005 onward) that it's always hammered home that the Doctor is the last of the Timelords. But it's almost never talked about that they are NOT the last of the Gallifreyan's.
Because we know that timelords are the high society dudes that went to college and are granted regenerations and all that. And yeah, when the Doc ended the Time War they destroyed all of Gallifrey, including all the regular people.
However, we seem to have forgotten the Sisterhood of Karn chilling on another planet.
They're basically the Gallifreyan equivalent to nuns and they protect the Sacred Flame and all that, but they're still around. The 12th Doctor even went to them looking for help during "The Magician's Apprentice", and they reappeared later that season in "Hell Bent."
So what I'm saying is even though Gallifrey was destroyed for the billionth time, we could have seen 13 go and hang out during the "Timeless Child" arc to try and recenter herself. Maybe 15 can go since he's so much more in tune with his past than previous incarnation.
I'm seeing people post their cards so here we go! How many prompts were there? Because all of these are so distinctive from one another lol!
Well well well, if it isn't my two favorite men. Peter Falk and Kermit.
Whatcha doing here Peter?

@archie-the-menace I would literally die to do that with you yes.
Every February 19th, it's a day in which we Portal fans take time to appreciate Doug Rattmann. The man hiding in the walls during the first game, the only member of the Aperture Genetic Lifeform and Disk Operating System team who had some sense to think "maybe we shouldn't give the computer neurotoxin after we were mean to her", and the man who risked his life to set the events of Portal in motion, and helped ensure Chell survived the long sleep until Portal 2.
So on 2/19, celebrate Doug! Make fan art, write fics! Canon or au, it doesn't matter! Whatever you can think of to give Doug some much-needed love.
Be sure to tag your creations with #drad25 and #Doug Rattmann appreciation day!
Okay okay I wanna play
Spin the wheel for a Shakespeare character!
Reblog for sample size, etc. Would love to hear what you got + reasoning in the tags!
"The toast screams every second of the day to be released from the confines of it's crunchy body so that it may once more wreak havoc upon the world."
So I'm working on finishing those three fanfics I started last semester. Kind of proud of this sentence. It needs some hammering out, but overall it captures the tone pretty much perfectly.
I know that I've made this joke before, but the fact that the second Doctor's hat is almost always slightly off-screen always gives me big Doug Dimmadome vibes.
But to be fair, the actual length of his hat is also too funny for me to take seriously anyway.
To what, the fucking supermarket? I refuse to believe this man is traveling off world of his own volition.
That being said, UNIT's got my ass.
spin this wheel. you now have to travel with this incarnation of the doctor
Terrible jokes and ramblings and OH GOD, THE PAIN! THE UNENDURABLE AGONY! (howdy)
