This makes so much sense

I think we need to rework the whole “needing routine as an autistic person” thing because for the majority of allistic people, “routine” looks something like:

-wake up at 6am

-shower at 6:15am

-eat breakfast at 6:30am

-do important outings at 7am

-come home at 3pm

and so on..

And that is nothing like what I and many other autistic people experience (though it is what some experience).

Routine can be more accurately described as needing to do things in order to feel comfortable.

For example, I have no set time I wake up, I have no set time I do anything. But when I do wake up, I need to do my morning tasks in a specific order or I’ll struggle to function.

I get out of bed, turn on my lamp, switch my computer on, go to the bathroom, make my bed, get dressed, and sit down at my desk. That’s what a routine looks like to me.

If I’m cooking, I need to do things in a certain order or the food will be “wrong” (this could possibly be down to ARFID, but that is also comorbid with autism.)

There are other things like this. I guess you could call them mini routines. They aren’t a typical routine you’d see in a neurotypical or even someone who’s allistic.

For the longest time, I thought this was a symptom of autism I did not have at all but I do.

Just because a symptom doesn’t present in a neurotypical way, doesn’t mean it’s not there.

All right... I’m = Lawful & Chaotic Origins. I play the prologues a lot, I’m a total lore nerd and read all the codexes I get my hands. I’ve played past Ostagar a lot. Usually slow down around Orzammer because Deep Roads. Only made it past a few times. I romance everyone fairly equally & can make mean choices if it suits the character too. For DA2 = Neutral fits best, believe 2 is problematic but has some strong points. Love the characters and purple dialogue options because sarcasm is such a mystery to me so having guide to how/when it happens is helpful and fun. Played diplomatic nice blood mage support focus before which makes me slightly annoyed at Inquisition’s Hawke... Sitting there thinking, but aren’t you a blood mage, Hawke the whole time? That was confusing why they did that. INQUISITION = Chaotic = While, I like guides for sidequests, because open world games are too much at once and I need help when there’s 50 things a minute. I fought a dragon way too early, kept trying until I won. Jumped everywhere, the novelty didn’t wear off, tried jump glitch my way up cliffs. Shortcuts! :) Skyhold indulged my eagerness to jump further.

Dragon Age “Favorite Game” Alignments:

Lawful Origins -knows everything about the DA universe -reads all the codex entries -actually knows things about story structure -nerd

Neutral Origins -romances alistair every time -can never bring themselves to make evil choices -loves the music -cries a lot

Chaotic Origins -“FINE DWARVEN CRAFTS DIRECT FROM ORZAMMAR” -just replays all the different prologues over and over -restarts when they get to ostagar

Lawful 2 -thinks DA2 was unfairly judged in comparison to origins -has Strong Opinions ™ about anders -thinkpieces and meta -secretly bitter

Neutral 2 -really just loves all the DA2 characters -like, REALLY loves them -a lot -fix-it fic and coffee shop AUs -probably bisexual

Chaotic 2 -has only played 2 -“wtf is a darkspawn lol” -purple dialogue options -probably a blood mage

Lawful Inquisition -enjoys fetch quests -takes time to craft new weapons and armour at regular intervals -talks to every companion between every single mission -looks up walkthroughs and quickloads whenever a companion disapproves

Neutral Inquisition -Inquisition was their first DA game -avoids fandom drama -just genuinely enjoys all the games -the most chill

Chaotic Inquisition -“HOLY SHIT YOU CAN JUMP” -spends 90% of their time falling off of roofs in skyhold -runs into dragon battles 20 levels too soon and gets destroyed -tries to glitch on purpose

Summary: With February drawing to a close and the case long behind them, the Investigation Team finds themselves with a new mystery on their hands. Stripped of their powers, they’re confronted not only with the innermost darkness of their own hearts… but with each other.  Genre: Romance/Visual Novel Rating: T - content warnings include homophobia (both internalized and externalized), sexism, parental neglect, alcohol (including underage drinking), non-explicit sexual themes, canon-typical swearing (including gendered slurs), and canon-typical violence.

Length: ~5-6 hours (about 1-2 hours per route)

To install: extract files and run .exe. (There’s a known issue with some antiviruses mistakenly flagging Ren’py games, so you may have to whitelist it or wait for our false positive claims to go through.)

A note about saves from the demo: While saves from after the route split will load, using them is not advisable if you’re going for a max-points run. Use the “skip” function instead. 

There is a spoiler-free walkthrough included in the zip files: it not only indicates the right responses to make for each choice in the game, but also has a bit more information on route difficulty and suggested order of play.

Just wanted to let people know about this awesome Youtuber. If you haven’t seen his previous tabletop campaign, then I highly recommend watching them. They are amazing and can be found on his channel. Also I recommend watching this video and voting on the poll (which doesn’t require watching his previous campaigns). There’s probably a few options that I know so people might be interested in. The options ranged from Harry Potter, Doctor Who, Pokemon, Fallout, and to the Walking Dead. All of which have their merits as campaign setting ideas. Well... Hope everyone has a great day!
