"once i win this fight, i'll make sure every moment counts with you, 'kay?" and for a moment, you think that everything's going to be okay. you think that he'll just come back from this, and when he does, satoru's going to give you a hug, a big one. and maybe a few kisses added into the mix.

his eyes have always seemed so bright. always shining, always sparkling and glinting like the sun was glowing its rays on his pupils all the time. the only time you can ever recall where they became dark was when his best friend, suguru, left.

but suguru was now gone, and now, the only thing he could look forward to was you. and with you, there was no reason his eyes could stop sparkling and glinting.

since he was unsealed, satoru stopped wearing his blindfold completely. you think this look suits him way better, and you're able to see his eyes clear as daylight, but you wonder if it hurts. having the six-eyes would hurt, right? that was why he wore sunglasses in your high school days, and bandages after that, and finally, stuck with a blindfold.

each of those changes was made because something happened to suguru. after suguru left, satoru couldn't bear to see the memories with those sunglasses, and used bandages instead. when he killed suguru, he couldn't bear to use those bandages anymore, and switched to a blindfold. sometimes, you wonder if the true romance was between the two of them, instead of satoru and you.

and you really wonder that when you see his lifeless body, split in two, on the ground as you watch the fight.

huh. his eyes still shine.

not because of suguru, not because of his students, not because of shoko, because of you.

and for a moment, seeing that, you have faith. you have faith that he'll survive, no matter how much hope has been lost.

In this he falls in love with an un-named traveler so, you can imagine that as whoever. This also might be INCREDIBLY ooc, I haven't written for Xiao in so long..

Everyone in Liyue knew of their adeptus Xiao. Though you know him more than the common folk of Liyue. You had been by his side for years, though it's felt like forever at this point.

You had found yourself growing feelings for the adeptus. He was strong, beautiful, and once you got to know him, kind.

You knew you had no shot with him. No matter how much you tried to ignore it, you knew it was true. He was in love with someone else. A Traveler, you're not sure where they came from, but they had stolen the adeptuses heart.

He would talk about the traveler to you all the time. It hurt hearing him say all these wonderful things about someone who wasn't you.

You needed to be supportive of him. You loved him. You felt as if you were sacrificing everything for his happiness.

The two of you would go out on patrols and explorations together, and it seemed like the mysterious traveler was the only thing he knew how to talk about.

It stopped being a tragic tale and started pissing you off. You couldn't go anywhere with Xiao without him somehow bringing the traveler up.

"That traveler I met said they really liked snow.." he stared at the snow falling while you stood to the side, "Are you ever going to talk about anything else?" He looked at you, slightly taken back as you stared at him.

"What are you talking about." He sounded more angry with you, as if he was demanding rather than questioning. He just galred awaiting an answer.

"Everywhere we go, the only thing you seem to be able to talk about is that Traveler. You've only known them for a year, at most. I don't understand what's so special about them, that you feel the need to bring them up every time we do anything." You ranted as he just stared at you with anger and disbelief.

"You've been by my side for years and constantly nagging about how I don't show emotion enough, or I don't talk about how I feel enough. But the moments in which I finally do, you have to switch on me and go off about how I'm an annoying prick? You can get out of my life if that's how you're going to act from now on." He seemed calm in the way he spoke, but from the amount of time you've known him, you could tell he was pissed.

"Maybe I'm upset because I don't want to hear you talking about someone else. I want you to be talking about me. I've loved and cared about you for so long, but all my attempts to show that I have been met with you just bringing up that traveler. I like hearing about how you feel, now about what the traveler likes or what the traveler might be doing. I liked hearing about you." You cried out as he stared at you in disbelief.

"I don't think this is going to work out if that's how you feel." He was gone quicker than you coukd blink, left alone in the cold. All because you had to run your mouth about stuff that didn't even matter. You ruined your life because of a stupid crush.
