So last week I texted into K-Joy to win tickets to Tonight’s Freestyle Concert for my co-workers who wanted to see the show. Turned out that I won, shocker- and now neither one of the people who wanted them could go. So, I offered them to my cousin who always says to remember her, when I told her about I saw that one of my favorite 90’s groups is on the lineup- Color Me Badd, so when she said she can’t use them, I said then I guess God wants to give me the desires of my heart! My God is so good! Happy Fall everyone! God Bless (at NYCB Theatre at Westbury) https://www.instagram.com/p/CVG77RRt86i/?utm_medium=tumblr
Once again, opportunity has knocked at my door, courtesy of my good friend Louise Perreca Bagi and her husband Norm, who could not come to tonight’s hockey game, so they were so kind and generous to allow me to enjoy this amazing view for 60 minutes of hockey. I hope that when special events come your way that you will be able to say “yes”, and live your life to its fullest! Ok, so this concert is finally here, two years in the making due to Co-Vid, but tonight I get to check off seeing another legend -Elton John in concert. Obviously, this guy has so many hits but I remember growing up to Crocodile Rock playing on the radio. So, keep pursuing your dreams and never give up on them. Some just take longer than others to accomplish. God Bless. https://www.instagram.com/p/Caa7bi4u3b5harhKZrrSLfpQPcwdnH1q5us5Mw0/?utm_medium=tumblr
Well another weekend is upon us, so that gives me another chance to do the things I love to do. Tonight courtesy of WEHM Radio in Riverhead, I am getting to enjoy McCartney-the early years show. Growing up the Beatles were one on my first musical influences before Michael Jackson and Chicago. To all the Dads out there on Facebook- Happy Early Father’s Day- hope that you get to do something you love besides being a dad, which is such an amazing gift! Ok, so I go from watch a movie about Aretha to now going back to when I grew up in the 80’s when we use to go out to the clubs every weekend dancing and hearing the sounds of Freestyle. This is actually the first time I been to a Freestyle concert, and I even paid for this ticket, that’s how bad I wanted to see all these artists I grew up listening to. Make each day count! God Bless
