At first, Rin honestly finds you infuriating.

Like. You’re so lazy. You always look half-asleep, doodling or zoning out instead of doing anything productive, while he’s killing himself at practice. It pisses him off because you’re also scary smart — you pick up new things faster than anyone he’s ever met, and you do it without even trying.

One day while you’re sitting on the sidelines, you casually mutter, "I can do that." Rin turns around like. "Bet you can't." (Full of condescension.) You shrug, stroll onto the field, and literally copy the drill he’s been working on for hours perfectly like it’s nothing. Rin is so stunned he just stands there blinking at you.

Internally? "What the fuck. How did you—??"

Externally? "Tch. It was beginner level anyway."

After that he secretly tries to compete with you. Tries to catch you slipping but you somehow always pick things up without effort.

It drives him crazy.

(He’s definitely not thinking about kissing you against the lockers.)

Michael kaiser

Kaiser is OBSESSED with you. He thinks it’s hilarious that you're too lazy to care about how talented you are.

Like he'll be doing some insane flashy trickshot and you're just lounging on the bleachers, eating chips or scrolling on your phone.

You barely glance up and say, "I could do that."

Kaiser smirks, cocky as hell. "Oh yeah? Prove it, baby."

You do. Effortlessly. Like you were born doing it. Kaiser literally watches you like. what the fuck?

He loves it. He eats that shit up. Instantly thinks you’re the hottest thing alive. "My genius little prodigy," he calls you, constantly teasing you, trying to rile you up enough to actually use your talent.

Wants to be your mentor but mostly just wants to brag to everyone,

"Yeah, that's my girl. She's smarter and better than all of you without even trying."

Lowkey wants to make a bet where if you win (you will), he owes you kisses.

Sae itoshi

Sae… finds you fascinating. You’re like this enigma, How can someone who barely tries be so sharp?? How can you memorize entire strategies from a glance, while he’s busting his ass in the gym?

Very early on, Sae notices you’re watching his drills. Half the time he thinks you’re just daydreaming. But one day you casually mumble, "I can do that."

Sae doesn't say anything. Just kicks you the ball, gives you a lazy nod like, "Then show me."

You do. And it’s perfect. Like you've been secretly training for years. Sae’s eyes sharpen. His lips twitch into a smirk. "Huh. Impressive."

He starts testing you after that. Purposely doing more complicated shit in front of you, just to see if you’ll pick it up. (You do. Every time. Effortlessly.)

He loves your laziness, though—it weirdly soothes him. He also likes your quiet confidence and your ability to pick things up without stressing yourself out. Protective over you too. If anyone tries to criticize you for being “lazy,” Sae is the first to shut them down cold, "If you were half as good as her, maybe you could talk. Until then, shut the fuck up."

Likes to sit next to you during breaks and just watch you exist. soft for you but hides it behind that bored stare.
