This Is NOT A SessRin Opening! Many People Are Saying That, In This New Op, SessRin Is Compared To InuKag,

This is NOT a SessRin opening! Many people are saying that, in this new op, SessRin is compared to InuKag, but I don’t think so. If you see this succession of scenes carefully, you will realize that, while in Moroha’s scene, the background images are all of Inuyasha and Kagome, in the part where Towa and Setsuna appear, we see scenes that show Sesshoumaru’s development as a character and his growth as a person in relation to other characters like Kagura and Kohaku. They are not just images of Sesshoumaru and Rin:

In the first part, we see Sesshoumaru’s scene in which he remembers Kagura’s death and says that he will be the one to decide if she died for nothing. It is interesting that here we see the empty stairways; an empty place that a person should be occupying, but I don’t think it’s Rin because she’s already in the background. Giving us this scene of Sesshoumaru thinking about Kagura reminds us of how important she was to him and his development as a character.

Then we have two background images. The first is from Rin when she is a child. This makes sense since we all know that she was also very important to Sesshoumaru’s growth, but in the following image something caught my attention: Sesshoumaru is holding Tenseiga and the moon is behind him. This scene is from Chapter 20, when Inuyasha, Kagome and Sango are fighting against Naraku who wants to get the fragment that Kohaku has. At one point Kohaku is captured but the one who saves him is none other than Sesshoumaru. This scene in the opening is Sesshoumaru saving Kohaku. And I love that, because they are indicating how important their relationship is as well. I also find it interesting that just at the moment when Sesshoumaru’s biological daughters appear, Sunrise decides to show two images related to the two human children he cared for. Could that be indicating that they position Kohaku and Rin as his children as well?

Then we have an image that at first glance, seems to be only about Sesshoumaru and Rin, but specifically is when Sesshoumaru decides to save the souls that are in hell. That also shows the growth Sesshoumaru has experienced, deciding to save many human souls. Finally, the last scene here is from when Sesshoumaru obtains Bakusaiga, putting aside his grudge and pursuit of his father’s power and thus acquiring his own sword. In conclusion, I don’t think this opening is trying to validate SessRin, instead, I think it shows the growth process that Sesshoumaru has had.

Hey Tumblr, do you know what terror feels like? Volunteering at a camp and suddenly seeing thick black smoke and FUCKING FLAMES, one year after the camp had ALREADY burned down and we had worked our asses off to rebuild it. Seeing 160 kids cry, scream, complain, clap every time they saw firemen. Singing about Jesus holding you in his hands, while inwardly screaming for your daddy. Realising that your phone is literally working on 1%. Spending a chaotic afternoon without food, water and a toilet, while trying to keep all these children occupied. Returning to camp at 1:00 PM, with no water and power. Finally being able to sleep long after midnight, and being jolted awake when the fire re-ignited. Reading news the next day, and seeing that you were the lucky one.

i never talk about these things but i can’t remain silent.

i know tumblr doesn’t give a SHIT when things happen in countries outside the “most popular ones” (such as the usa & england). it’s true, don’t lie to me. y’all don’t give A FUCK. not every issue and problem in said countries gets the appropriate exposure but in general shit shows up on the news WORLD FREAKING WIDE. you set up donations, you help out, your spread the word, you say “pray for x”……

people are dying - at home, on the road, trying to run away, in their cars.

yesterday my country had 300 active fires.

people are losing EVERYTHING they own.

i have a friend that is on a train right now passing through places that have been burnt to the ground and she says the smoke is so intense it’s getting inside the train and she can barely breathe.

and yet, even though several people (myself included) have been trying to bring awareness to what has been happening in southern europe… what we get from most of you, those not part of the countries suffering, is silence. we don’t ask for money, we don’t ask for shit other than a reblog to spread awareness… something you can delete in 24/48hrs if you wish.

i don’t know what to tell you. i’m angry. i’m frustrated. i’m disappointed. i feel like i’m screaming into the void. “a reblog does nothing” - you know that’s a damn lie, you know exposure always helps, you know people start paying attention when posts on social media become popular. my country in particular is a small one, we get ZERO exposure. y’all are only starting to figure out we even fucking exist bc of the shit we’ve been winning lately.

but hell, if the EU doesn’t give a shit, why should some user on tumblr dot com?

(in no particular order)

1) kalluzeb is like reylo if reylo was good

2) sabines hair got uglier and uglier as the seasons progressed. also, changing your hair is not sufficient for character development. also i dont understand how we meet her at 16 and shes already been with the ghost crew for a while and shes an ex bounty hunter AND and ex-empire-worker. like what??? was she a 12-year-old expert bounty hunter? do they address this???

3) ahsoka had to be put out of commission for 90% of the series bcuz her presence makes the other characters look bad. she just outshines them

4) speaking of, anakin/vader and ahsokas relationship was handled PERFECTLY and exceeded ALL expectations. literally justifies this entire shows existence

5) however, anakin and ahsoka being in this show represents my biggest problem with it: they cudnt decide who it was for. at . first, i thought, oh ok. this is for kids. which is fine, there are many shows that are not for teens or adults to enjoy. but then, by bringing in ahsoka, they invited people who had previously watched the clone wars (older fans) to watch the show. and those themes were much were complex, as they should be. however, it created an inconsistent tone that a lot of the series suffered from. like, i just wanna see ahsoka, but i gotta get through this inquisitors flying around with their ridiculous helicopter lightsabers bullshit first.

6) THE TOOTHPICK LIGHTSABERS. LOOK FUCKING. TERRIBLE. AWFUL!

7) more compliments tho: kanera is like the healthiest and least problematic and most fun romantic relationship in star wars

8) i might just b sayin this bcuz im a prequel hoe but THIS SHOW NEEDED MORE POLITICS. i still have no idea what the political situation is in this whole era. and this show had 4 seasons!!! id like to mention that our main characters are LITERALLY TERRORISTS. like, in the very first episode of clone wars that they mentioned terrorists in, obi-wan immediately pointed out that they . could be terrorists and him and anakin actually discussed that for a bit
