I’m reading that new memoir about working at Facebook,”Careless People,” and it’s just fucking insane.

At one point Facebook wanted to be an international hub for organ donation. The “Lean In” lady asked why she couldn’t go down to Mexico and buy a kidney if her four year old needs one. This is literally on p.57. What the fuck else is going to be in this book if that is on page 57

the funniest thing in the entire pirates of the caribbean series is definitely that one scene in At World’s End where they have parlay but davy jones is part of it, and rather than have him stand in the shallows or something they get a big bucket of water and have in stand on it on shore

I'm pretty confident blasters do not have recoil. That said they do have the in universe equivalent of caliber size meaning it hurts more to be shot by a bigger blaster. Rex is trading damage for rate of fire as two guns fire faster and a captain probably needs covering fire more than stopping power.

star wars needs to answer one thing for me, do laser (plasma???) based firearms have recoil??
