I also have recently been working a lot on my oc’s and have personality descriptions for all of them and story summaries for nearly all of them! All written down on a Word document too! If you want to hear more about a specific oc I’d love to talk about them.

In other news I have strep throat and am now taking antibiotics and can’t leave my house for the day. Yay. The antibiotics are working though and my tonsils are already significantly less swollen!

Final bit of stuff to talk about is I have seven new oc’s! And have begun coming up with their stories! They’re all from the same world except one but I keep them grouped together because the same person made the two different worlds I’ve abused them off of.

Mila is also an absolute menace to society. Sure she cares about her friends and family but she loves annoying them. She also takes joy in provoking her enemies until they get so sick of her that they just give up.

timeline math: shigaraki, izuku, & afo

Some timeline math:

Shigaraki is about 20 years old. 

Izuku is about 16. 

The age when a child develops a quirk is age 4, also the age when Izuku was confirmed Quirkless.

In this flashback where we see AFO kidnap Shigaraki, he still has his face and hair, so we can assume it was before the AM vs. AFO fight that left them both at their weakest:

Listen, we know AFO choose to groom Shigaraki specifically because it would hurt All Might –– he says this. But why look for a full on successor before he was injured? He is essentially immortal, and character-wise, he has a massive ego backed up by intelligence. And (see above) he literally has Jesus holes in his hand, likely from his Quirk. I’m not doubting his choice to choose a successor, I’m doubting why he chose that moment. Any character needs a trigger. Since this was _before _All Might wrecked AFO’s whole face, what was his trigger?

Here we get two important, subtle details: AFO tells Shigaraki to call him Sensei, Shigaraki asks what he will be teaching. He establishes this relationship from the get-go: You will be a villain, and I will teach you.

But something that also struck me was this: AFO says sorry for the room being cramped. Why would Hori include this detail, unless it meant something?

Look at it this way. Shigaraki is called a man-child multiple times, his development is all off, and he’s interested in video games to a degree where he conflates it with his own life. 

My idea is he spent A LOT of time in this room, by himself, interacted with AFO and the Doctor only, played video games, and almost never left (if never left at all). I think this might be for a few reasons, but the most glaring is: Shigaraki was kidnapped. He had to be hidden.

Shigaraki says he can’t remember much before meeting the Doctor and AFO.

The Doctor says “Ah, I know a lot about that.”

Odd response, right? Is there something they did to Shigaraki he hasn’t caught on about?

Shigaraki has no memories of his past, only the emotions behind it. He even calls it a “broken record.”

AFO definitely ripped those memories out. Here, it’s pretty much implied his sister was showing him a picture of their grandmother in hero costume because their father disapproved of Shigaraki wanting to be a hero. Even if the trauma would help toward him becoming a villain, it’s much easier to groom him if he’s pretty much a clean slate, which is what AFO did to him. 

I’m not even so sure his father was abusive, which is what some fandom thought for a while –– not after this panel. It seems more like his father was reaching for him to calm him down. And what use does AFO have of a good father figure? None. Shigaraki only needs him.

Can we even say for sure if the hands he carries are of his dead family? Can we say for sure his family is dead, even? The one person I’m personally not so sure is dead is his sister, who Hori has: 1) drawn to look more like Nana, and 2) given the most panels out of any supposed family members.

What we can be sure of, though, is that people were looking for Tenko Shimura. He was a kid who disappeared. AFO couldn’t risk Shigaraki being found, or him finding out the real circumstances behind his kidnapping. There’s a lot of questions here, and a lot of gaps, but what we can be sure of is this is a classic grooming scheme,_ with a lot of work put behind it_. And for what?

First, I want to say:_ Izuku is a foil of Shigaraki_, and vise-versa. This is made clear many times. 

They even have the same shoes.

While all this is going on in Shigaraki’s end, we have Izuku, who should have just been diagnosed as Quirkless. All his memories are happy when he’s with his mother. But it’s just them, for every flashback, every single time. On-page, there is no mention of his father beyond: he has a fire-breath Quirk, and he’s Inko’s husband. (Other official sources say he is working abroad, it’s just off-page.)

I gotta say, this is odd. Why would anyone who had a father, a good one or a bad one or even an ok one, just never mention him ever? Not in a flashback, not in a memory, not in passing, no phone calls, no nothing. Not even when Izuku thought he was about to die did he think of his father:

He doesn’t even text his dad when he gets his license: 

The guy is just… not on his mind. At all. He has no feelings about it, either. It would be odd if he brought up his dad at this point, in a negative or a positive light. It seems that whatever situation his household is in, his father straight up just does not exist. 

So I’m proposing a theory: Was Izuku and his mother’s memories altered like Shigaraki’s? Was it around the same time they were both around the Doctor, who has been established as someone who finds Quirks for AFO? Why is it around Izuku’s birth does AFO find Shigaraki?

Shigaraki and Izuku are foils. But just how much are they connected?

Sexuality: ace/aro doesn’t feel romantic love and doesn’t enjoy sexual activities

Species: drow/dark elf

Fandom: nonexistent, she’s a dnd character

Also shes lawful evil but can be nice if she wants to be

Don’t get on her bad side she’ll just cast Otto’s irresistible dance and force you to dance till you die, or power word kill depends on her mood

Here’s a quicker version of himikos backstory like I promised

Himikos birth name was Akatani Shinamoru which yes again is the same as another oc but that’s why she changed her name later on

When Himiko was born her parents hated her and abused her

Then when she was five she was diagnosed as quirkless

After that her parents became more abusive

The only light in her life was her friend, Jun Hano

Her and Jun planned to run away together on her half birthday and start their life anew

They were gonna rename themselves as Mei and Tei

But the night before her fifth and a half birthday himikos parents brought someone over to the house

That someone referred to himself as the doctor

Then the doctor killed her parent’s, lit her house on fire, and kidnapped her

She was experimented on for a year and a half

Throughout that year her hair turned white

Her right eye glowed a brighter blue

And her left eye turned white

She also gained three quirks, a teleportation quirk, a regeneration quirk, and an intelligence quirk

Roughly six months into her being stuck with the doctor he stopped the experimentation and started training her

She was taught taekwondo karate and jieitaikakutōjutsu then formed her own fighting style from what she learned

After the year and a half she escaped but ended up being kidnapped again by someone else

This someone else name was Jin Takahashi

Jin ran a fighting ring where villains could fight with each other either with or without quirks

But Jin would also kidnap people and force them into fights to the death

Jin ended up putting Himiko into this fighting ring and she was forced to fight to the death with both adults and kids alike

She was stuck there for three years from age seven to ten and a half

Throughout those three years she was fighting almost every day

She had been forced into so many fights to the death that she had been forced to kill 685 people

But eventually heroes and police found out about this fighting ring and took it down arresting dozens of villains and Jin

But after three years of Himiko being made to fight Jin had constantly told her that if she tried to run she would simply be arrested for killing so many people

So she ran. Himiko then tried to turn her life around by changing her name and calling herself Mei Himiko

She went to the library often and taught herself everything she missed out on learning and more

She learned over ten languages, two types of sign language, and up to college level math, reading, writing, science, history, and more.

After six months of constant study along with hacking into police files to make it seem as though Mei Himiko had always existed and was just another eleven year old who was homeschooled

But also at eleven she decided to try and use her fighting capabilities for good rather than evil and she became the vigilante known as shadow

But eventually after three years she allowed herself to be caught and ended up in a vigilante reform program, she was also adopted by either aizawa or another oc of mine name Rena Itsika

She was also enrolled into class 1a of the UA hero course and is now training to become a hero!

Yay you all finally have her backstory though tbh it’s ever changing

Also here’s five fun facts about my au!

1: both Shinsou and kaminari are adopted by aizawa and were actually rescued from their bio parents by shadow and aizawa!

2: Nezu has an adopted child who’s name is Ichiro Aikawa and they go by they/them pronouns, they weren’t rescued by shadow tho

3: I ship erasermic so they are married!

4: due to me reading a lot of fanfics I have come to love midnight so she is a bit more child friendly in this au and her outfit looks like that because of her quirk coming out of her skin! She also totally a mom friend and is super sweet

5: I hate m!neta so instead of him being in class A we have Shinsou!
