Info on the au:

A nuke was dropped. Not many survive.. and most that do eventually die to radiation.

Anzu and ranmaru, two high school students, somehow miraculously managed to survive. Barely. Anzu snapped her arm under a ton of debris… ow. The two had to scavenge for whatever food and other things they could find, until stumbling upon 2 other survivors. Hinako and Mai, who teamed up and set up camp as they tried to stay alive. Thank god they found Mai, because Anzu was definitely tired of eating shittily cooked roadkill(not actually dead because of a car but just dead animals).

During nuclear fallout, you should definitely change into new clothes once you can, since they’re most likely gonna be radiated. The 4 did find a warehouse that was surprisingly safe from the radiation, so hey! Free clothes! (Like hell they’re gonna pay for shit during the apocalypse.)

Later on, a certain someone gets caught trying to steal from their camp..

And promptly had his ass kicked.

He reluctantly joins the group.

They find hayasaka after he set up a smoke signal for others to find him.
