i think there’s a difference between a protest & looting, vandalism, and arson.

peaceful protest, all for it.

destroying businesses-big or small- in your own neighborhood, or other people’s neighborhood, is not okay.

i do not support burning the American flag in America.

i do not support the hatred for all cops. not all cops are bad.

⬆️ this is so sad to me. if the looting was about black lives, would this man be dead?

would black shop owners be having THEIR stores looted?

have you seen the video of the homeless man’s bed & other belongings being set on fire?

so, yes. i support a peaceful protest against the horrible, unnecessary actions of Derek Chauvin that led to George Floyd’s death. But I will never support destroying communities.
