‘FOREVEEER!’ HEISHDJKAB I Can’t!

Warnings for this chapter: pretty much the same ones as the last one + karasu's pov + i ran out of ideas for the title

Chapter 1: Sending an assassin for someone to be brought back alive

Karasu can feel your gaze pierce him as you stare at him at Otoya. He recognized you, from somewhere, he didn't know where. 

He couldn't tell Otoya though, you were both standing at an angle between people where only you can see each other and telling someone else would mean they have to move. And that would be awkward. 

So, out of pure instinct, he turned around and made eye contact with you. And you both stared at each other. After a few seconds when a normal person would've turned away, you kept holding eye contact, tilting your head as in question. 'Do i know you?' your look asked, but before Karasu could make a facial expression that could answer your question, a voice jolted him.

"Yo Karasu!" Otoya snapped. "Whatcha lookin' at?" Karasu peeled his eyes away from you as Otoya questioned, trying to look at you from his place but couldn't see from his point. Otoya frowned and turned to Karasu for an answer but he was turned to where you were, but you were already gone. 

"Tabito." Otoya said, slight annoyance laced in his voice, as he pulled out the first name. But that only lead to Karasu sighing, annoyed. "Nothing." He snapped before adding under his breath. "She's gone anyway." Whether Otoya heard or not, he didn't show any signs of it and kept waiting.

Maybe a few hours passed since he saw you but Karasu had to focus on the real reason why he was here. His 'mission'. Well, technically, his and Otoya's. He worked for this minor government official that apparently found out that a pretty famous criminal was in this hotel; for whatever reason. But, he wanted them brought alive, not dead. 

"Then why send an assassin if you want them brought here alive?" Karasu questioned his boss as he sat in his office a few days ago. "Her." He said looking out the window, like in those movies where the main character boss is about to give them a speech about them being important to their organization. "Her?" Karasu asked. "Yes her, we found out a few days ago her gender and code name; thanks to some of our hackers." He interjected proudly. "But not her name or how she looks like." "Then what is her code name?" Karasu asked impatient to get out of here, he didn't like his boss, but he wasn't the worst. 

His boss sighed at his question dramatically; probably for the effect. "Sliver Thief."
