I Always Thought It Would Be The Other Way Around With Keith Being Kon And Lance Being Tim But After

found family in media is so special to me. Oh my god its so amazing, especially when its built up? Like i don't care if they're introduced being all family like, but give me a reason why. Was one of them abandoned and the other person was the only one able to push past their boundries? Did person A have a family and they died, but person B needs them so much that person A lets go on the past to help them? Beautiful. I love it. They found each other and decided to be a family, they saw everything in the other person or people and they said this one is mine. These people around me right now are my family, and I will do anything for them. I eat that shit up.

Guys. Oh my god. I restarted my phone cause it was glitching out and when i clicked my chrome for some ao3 time instead of seeing the smiley face in the corner of the tap that shows how many tabs you have open (samsings give you a smiley face after a 100 instead of a number)

Im feeling genuine grief. Shock. Disbelief. Some of those weren't bookmarked, weren't finished or saved for later what am i gonna do???? Go find them again???? I dont even remember them! All i know is that i loved them! Isnt that enough? To keep them?

I’m continuing my annual tradition of sharing some of my favorite fics that came out in the past year (you can see last year’s list here). Klance headcannons while i suffer from writers block

Keith tells Lance that when they get back to earth, he'll build Lance a house by the ocean in Varadero with a gazebo.

Lance quietly suffers all night from the urge to tell Keith he loves him so much

When Keith is in a healing pod, Lance stresses so badly he knits. He crochets. Pidge has go drag him out of a space shop that sells yarn so many times that she doesnt even blink when he turns up with purple yarn.

Keith has so many hippos, bees and sharks that Lance has made for him.

He keeps them all on his bed.

They play stupid games on the tablets in the castle and Lance destroys Keith in all of them

Keith is a master at games on a console. Unless theyre horror and then he turns into a ball of terror and dread

Not much for public affection other than holding hands and a quick peck on the cheek, they've found other ways to assure each other in public

Keith says thinks to him in the galra tongue that leaves Krolia and Kolivan sharing a look each time without fail

Lance taps any part of Keith he can subtly three times to tell him he loves him

When Lance gets frustrated with himself, instead of pulling his hair out or biting his nails like he used to, Keith lets him braid his hair at least a thousand times

Lance got the big brother talk from Shiro

Funnily enough, so did Keith

Theyre so in love it physically makes Pidge sick but she loves them so when they smile softly at each other, she just turns away

When Keith leaves for BoM, they face time every chance they get. Most of the time Lance is in red and Keith always gets the faint feeling of happiness in the back of his head, along with a small flash of them both and a whisper of 'mine'.

One time Kolivan came in when Lance was telling Keith a story and took a picture of his face just to bully him because of how in love he was

Keiths background on his phone is lance smiling with his sister Veronica and the sun is in the background, with purple skies and sand in his hair from the beacj in Varadero

Lances background is Keith staring up at the sky, unaware hes being photographed, while a fire crackles between them.

(They were watching the sun set in the desert around where Keith stayes during The Year that Wont Be Spoken Of and get distracted so they wait for the sun rise)

Keith is little spoon while Lance is human body pillow for both Keith and Kosmo

Ao3 is a non-profit organisation. If they have to start paying taxes, I have no idea what will happen.

I am dying for a Jason Todd fic out there where he just is genuinly as asshole but kids like flock to him anyway??? And he grudgingly takes care of them, mask on ans maak off, until one day he's standing in his kitchen making dinner (you know hes GREAT at cooking) for four starving children from Crime Alley and hes like "shit. Im just like Bruce." Tired of the fics that say Dick would have children first just cause hes in a semi stable relationship and hes the oldest like no. Jason is the most like Bruce theres no way he wouldn't bring home a stray first

Jason knows that when he approaches kids in his entire get up that they're scared of him, and in crises that's... not great. So he's taken to carrying sticker books with him. He has enough pockets for it. He offers the kids stickers, and he lets them put the stickers on his helmet. He has dozens of Red Hood helmets now, all of them have an amalgamation of new and faded stickers.

The rest of the family tries to make fun of him for it, but Jason just holds out his sticker books like "You seem stressed, have a sticker."

Adam told Keith to try pottery and to this day he swears it was the worst mistake of his life. Keith wedges (is that the right term? Its when you like beat up the clay so that all the air bubbles are gone i think) the clay within an inch of its life, my guy is literally just beating this clay up so he can make a hippo mug to match the fox one he made for Shiro. Slapping the clay down on that circle thing that spins is a favourite of his. The sound soothes his heart. Using the wire to cut the clay makes him feel like hes slitting someones jugular. The possibilities are endless when it comes to art and Keith

I love artist Keith because I think it's so silly. Like, Adam got worried about Keith's anger issues and encouraged Keith to find other ways to channel his anger. This is all cool and all until Keith's sitting in class, angrily scribbling James being crucified for his sins on his final exam. Or he's sitting in Shiro's apartment, aggressively stabbing a piece of fabric over and over only for the result to be a pretty little embroidered bouquet. Imagine Keith channeling all his rage into crocheting chicken nugget stuffed animals.

So many silly possibilities!!

I remember reading this part of yj98 the first time and I actually cried from how hard I laughed the writers HAD to be on crack writing it. Its seriously so funny and (this is my opinion!) Seriously so much better than the tv show with the relationships and depth/growth the characters had
