By having a military and police, we’ve already resigned ourselves to a world where crime is a given and violence is a permanent threat. Instead of increasing either of these forces, wouldn’t it make far more sense to create a society where there is no need for crime? A world where terrorism isn’t a possibility? A world without the constant waging of wars? It’s hilarious how much we actually perpetuate military growth and advancements. We sit around creating more ways to kill each other, as if there isn’t enough already. I know this seems nigh impossible, a world without violence and crime. But isn’t it so incredibly sad that a vast majority of us can’t even imagine that?
