I Know That Women Are Physically "inferior" To Men According To Male Standards Of Physicality Only, But

i know that women are physically "inferior" to men according to male standards of physicality only, but i wish we would stop tripping over ourselves to prove that we are better than men in a lot of way. like i think it's important that we learn to appreciate our body's capabilities, but even if we were weaker than men in all ways who gives a shit? that's not an excuse to treat us like they do. lol a man irl wants to tell me he's stronger than i am, cool bro, im way fucking smarter than you tho.

a fucking horse could kill you with a single kick, what of it? a bull could crush you. a bear could maul you. you could die from a bug bite. a little infected cut. why does you being "stronger" than i am mean you are allowed to subjugate me?

"What will you do if you don't have friends, a relationship or a community when times get rough?"

The problem with this way of thinking is the amount of effort I have to pour into a black hole, for an undisclosed amount of time, out of fear. Not out of love or genuine connection. Today, almost every relationship is created out of fear or lack therefore it is a counterfeit connection. I have to invest hours per day/week talking to somebody about nothing so I have a HOPE that they will bail me out one day. I'd rather use that time to practice the art of remaining in a positive state of pure consciousness; commit to the Great Work of restructuring my mental patterns so I can create what I want at the moment I need it. To depend on somebody, who isn't even a real person but an amalgamation of identities that they think we share, is Soul-death. In other words, I don't plan on my life imploding nor will I use somebody else's life as an example of what could happen to me. If I must engage in useless pondering, I will always use constructive examples, not destructive ones. All I can do is remain in the present moment and take each minute at a time and I will always choose my happiness right now over a past trauma or future anxiety.

The nature of duality

The world we inhabit is extremely complex. The universe is comprised of multiple layers and aspects that are independent but simultaneously interact with eachother. In this vast web of interconnections we have the ability to perceive the cosmic paradox of duality.

The most important thing to understand about duality is that everything and anything holds opposing truths. Duality separates truth into two aspects: relative and absolute truth. As human beings we are very limited in our understanding of the cosmos and most of the truth we perceive is in fact relative truth.

Relative truth isn't any less true than absolute truth which is why two contradictory statements can be true at once. It is simply an angle of looking at something but it does not account for all possible perspectives the way absolute truth does. An example of relative truth is that the Earth is very big (in comparison to us) but it is also very small (in comparison with the universe).

Absolute truth is eternal but this is not something that we'll reach during our transient lifetime in the physical world. That is okay because we're here to have the human experience, perceive reality from specific angles and experience duality. You've been given the choice to find your personal truth, share it, live it and this is part of your experience.

Absolute truth is beyond conceptual thinking, it holds no duality, it is all-pervasive and changeless. Everything emanates from absolute truth, the supreme cosmic truth is God Herself. God is in everything, we're a fragment of Her consciousness, an idea in the infinite mind.

"The eye by which I see God is the same as the eye by which God sees me. My eye and God's eye are one and the same-one in seeing, one in knowing, and one in loving." said Meister Eckhart. There are many degrees of existence in this Universe, a spiritually developed person is one who recognises the oneness in everything but also understands duality as she is a human.

In order to better understand this, think of a writer who is imagining a new character for her book. That character is an independent being and is not the writer but at the same time it is true that there is something of the writer in the character, for she could not exist without the writer. The writer is using her mind to create something that is in a sense separate from her but also one within her.

This is an ability of the finite mind, the infinite mind also has this capacity but greater. This is seen in the Hermetic principle of correspondence: "As above, so below; as below, so above.” Our mind is a microcosmic reflection of the macrocosmic mind but in a lesser degree.

Remember that all this is part of your human experience and you need not escape your materiality yet, you are here to learn from it. Ironically, you are separated from God only to come back to Her again. Chapter VII, The Kyballion: "the Law of Individualization--that is, the tendency to separate into Units of Force, so that finally that which left THE ALL as unindividualized energy returns to its source as countless highly developed Units of Life, having risen higher and higher in the scale by means of Physical, Mental and Spiritual Evolution".

it's actually really weird to me that a lot of adults don't seem to remember the worst bits of being a child. were you not horribly aware of when adults were talking down to you as a child? don't you remember how little autonomy you were allowed, even when it came to things that seemed pretty harmless? don't you remember the times when adults would seemingly be assholes to you for no reason? even if you had nice and reasonable parents, didn't you ever have teachers or other adults in power who treated you disrespectfully? didn't it sting no matter how people justified it?

especially when I was a teenager, it seemed obvious to me & to most of my peers when an adult wasn't treating us with respect. you could almost smell it, in certain classrooms. there would be this palpable, shifting undercurrent of teenage dissatisfaction whenever some teachers started talking. and it made a lot of the kids act out! which of course made the teachers try to exert their power, which never worked because nobody respected them, which made them get more draconian, etc.

as a teen, I didn't really get why my peers and I seemingly had a superhuman sense for when an adult was on a power trip. but now I think I get it. kids are systematically denied autonomy, respect, and consistently have the validity of their experiences denied. like, flat-out. they're a vulnerable class of people made even more vulnerable by their lack of societal rights. being disrespected as a kid is so frequent that I would say it's a defining experience for most children. is it any wonder they tend to pick up on when an adult doesn't see them as worth listening to?

so yeah, of course a ton of kids want to be treated "like an adult." to them, that's synonymous with being treated like a human being worth listening to. it's up to you, as an adult, to understand that wish for what it is, and behave accordingly. you don't gotta be a child psychologist. you don't gotta be perfect at it. all you have to do is remember how painful adult disrespect could be when you were a kid & do your best to act with some compassion.

Watching one of your own get humiliated, tortured, objectified and dehumanized is abuse and a threat. Every woman who’s been exposed to depictions of women being used, brutalized, raped and objectified has felt it on her skin, it was abuse to her, threat to her entire kind, and to her personally. She was being told, in that moment, what the world does to women, what it would do to her. The rest of her life is then just waiting for her to be forced into it, or doing it willingly in hope it wont be so brutal. This is what living on earth is for women. Watching our own being tortured and waiting for our turn.

This is what pornography is doing to us. It’s what media is doing to us. It’s what photoshopped, unnatural and objectified depictions of women are doing to us. It’s what objectifying via makeup is doing to us. Every image and video of women who are presented as something to be used and consumed, is abuse to womankind.

there’s a connection between the numbing sprays for your feet so you can wear high heels and the anal desensitizing lube so you can have anal sex for your boyfriend and the suppressants for your gag reflex so you can deepthroat that same boyfriend. can’t quite make it though

I’ve been seeing my mutuals (on my main) reblogging that “transwoman transition masterpost” over and over and it finally hit me what was bothering me about it, especially the passing socially tips section that summarized went somewhat like;

“Emulate your ciswomen friends, choose a friend you like the most, how they talk, act, walk, stand, how women they act in movies, choose what woman you want to be, elegant, sexy? Makeup is a must, shaving is a must, women talk with emotion, Look at how women act in their idle time etc”

It consisted of all of the stereotypes in the book, all of the concepts we as feminists have been fighting for years to stop associating with womanhood being once again being romanticized and normalized and promoted under feminism

And it just reeks of male gaze male gaze male gaze, it profits off it, validates it’s enforcement on us, tells males how to mimick us and continue to perpetuate so many actions we do subconsciously and compulsory because of our own female socialization and gender roles, our “mannerisms” and “habits” etc i get flashbacks from reading the Reddit tips on “how to pee like a woman where it’s advice was to listen in on ciswomen urinating in public bathrooms, and how it echoes the way some men fetishize women peeing.

Then they have the audacity to tell us it’s us that are demeaning ourselves by knowing it’s our body that makes us women and not these compulsions? It’s misogyny and sexism plain and simple, And it just makes me so much more hyper aware now that not only do we have the sexual male gaze from straight non dysphoric men to deal with but now the transwoman male gaze, looking for the best way to mimick our behaviors and enforce gender stereotypes in a way we are not allowed to question or be bothered by
