Oh God it's on repeat.
Midsommar in Sweden. Neighbours are blasting Caramelldansen.
It's about a young Maori boy who gets adopted by a couple in the New Zealand countryside. He and his grumpy adoptive uncle end up stuck and declared missing in the bushlands. This causes a national manhunt, and we then follow them as they run away from police and child protective services. It's a really funny and heartwarming film. It's like, really comfy. But also sad, but also happy at the same time. It's nice for when you just kinda want to be a bit sad, but it still leaves you feeling warm and hopeful.
(For the movie ask) Hunt for the Wilderpeople

The single most beautiful girl you have ever seen.
This post kept showing up on my dash and I always felt that there was something off with "finding beauty" in the effects of a global pandemic with a high body count, no matter how pretty the results. Thanks for putting it into words.
Everytime I get drunk I make some embarrassing post that I end up deleting the very next day. But like, I've got no other option than to shout into this void that is tumblr. I'm so fucking lonely and I just wish that I had someone to talk to.
