"It's easy to forget what's important when you're alone."
cue percy four years later stumbling toward camp jupiter with a very vague memory of a girl he knows he loves but can't for the life of him put a face to a name. because he's physically on his own. but he's never actually without her.
Ok but realistically speaking, what the hell was Izuku thinking when he decided he wanted to be a hero? It's not just that he doesn't have a quirk, dude just went on and on fanboying and not even physically training himself to make his body the strongest it could get without a quirk?? He thought he could have gone by just with the knowledge he had of heroes? Like, don't you think that Izuku Midoriya, that hardworking cinnamon roll, didn't think of the fact that maybe if he worked on his physical strength he had higher chances of becoming a hero than he had if he didn't train himself? And if he had, then he would have gotten ready for OFA faster and then would have had time to get used to the quirk and his development overall would have been so different, like, really.
No, but, how come his ribs didn't? Was that on purpose? Hmmmmm š¤
The fact that she hits Cardan so hard her weapon breaks? LMFAOOOOO PLATINUM
Everyday I think about how Jude, a mortal, carved her way into getting not only all that she ever wanted but also the things she never really admitted that she needed, in the strange Faerie world.
She became a spy, which gave her the royal duty, of sorts, she always wanted. But with it also came the Court of Shadows which, with time, became not only allies but also a family. She trusts them and cares for them as they do for her.
She became the literal fugging badass High Queen of Elfhame, but with it she got Cardan, for whom she harbors a love she not only thought she would never feel, but a love she was always afraid to feel. She got someone who trusts her completely, cheers her every step, is ready to start a war to keep her safe and loves her with all of his shabby, worm-eaten, and scabrous heart.
She got her power, her kingdom but she also got, friends, family and love.
yeah....bye ā”

Prompt #3
Okay so we all know this:
Hero: I'll save the world even if I have to sacrifice myself.
Villain: I'll burn this world down for you.
But what about this:
Hero 1: I'll save the world even if I have to sacrifice myself.
Hero 2: I'll burn this world down if it meant you're by my side as long as I breathe.
annabeth trying to dismantle a GOD's unbeatable machine because her fatal flaw is hubris and percy just knowing he was going to sit on the machine because his fatal flaw is loyalty THIS FUCKING WRITERS ROOM PLEASE SPARE ME
i know we always joke about jude being mean to cardan all the time and cardan just being her simp (which, he canonically is hahaha) but I like to imagine that jude actually becomes unbearably soft and sweet with cardan. but only in private.
i like to think that jude remains the strong willed fighter that she has always beenā until she gets home.
when she gets home, she sheds the mask, she sheds the part of her that feels like it always needs to be on the defensive, she sheds the fear.
when she gets home, to their room, she throws her arms around cardanās neck and hugs him tightly, pressing soft kisses to his neck.
when she gets home, she feels completely safe to cry if she needs to, to tell cardan that she loves him, to be vulnerable, to be soft; safe to let cardan pull her into his arms as they lie in bed and he showers her with the affection sheās always craved.
in the quiet dark of their room, i like to think that they whisper their darkest secrets to each other, their fears, their hopes, their wishes.
i donāt know ;0;
i just want soft jurdan ;0;
brb running to my computer to write this
I'm watching the 4th episode right now and I just love how they're already building up Percy's whole "They might be gods but this is a shit way to treat kids. So, fuck you" Like, a 12 year old just lying there awake after a nightmare and discussing this with the smartass girl who he thought would have never befriended him.
And then said smartass girl stating that it's just bow everyone works, not just the gods??? Like, I love how Percy was treated so good that he could say fuck you to the gods but then I also hate how Annabeth just accepted it, because arghhhhhhhh
Oh, yk what else they have in common? So much suffering and them not ending up together:')
I was today years old when I realized Percico has the exact same age gap as Romeo and Juliet.
It means absolutely nothing, but it's neat to think about.
