Every time people ask Endeavor why he has all that fire on his face, he gives a different answer just to fuck with them:

“So that mosquitoes don’t bite me.”

“It’s a comfort thing.”

“Intimidation factor.”

“For Hawks to stop trying to kiss me.”

“There’s a fire on my face? Wait what??”

“I’m tired of having to apply sunscreen all the time.”

“So I can headbutt a villain and give them a second-degree burn at the same time.”

“I don’t know how to turn it off. Help.”

“You won’t believe how often people try to slap me.”

“But do you really want to see what’s underneath?”

“I feel naked without it.”

“I can put raw chicken on skewers, and by the time it reaches my mouth, it’s yakitori.”

“It’s the new fashion thing.”

“It only appears when the person I’m talking to is stupid. Has it appeared?”

“Fire? What fire? Are you seeing things?”

Here's my headcannon of why Best Jeanist always covers his neck :)

Warnings: choking, strangled by himself, kid in pain, if there's anymore let me know!

So, when he got his quirk he was around 3-4 and he was wearing a long sleeve shirt (more fabric) and he was doing normal 3 or 4 year old stuff. Without anyone in the room, because.. uhh story purposes?

And he activated his quirk, by accident, and he got tangled up in the treads of it. It got tangled on his hands but also around his neck, and he was old enough to know that, that's not safe. So he started freaking out and that made his quirk freak out and get tighter, and he had already had a good amount of thread around his neck. So, the thread started cutting into his neck and he was screaming and crying when they started to do that. His parent(s) came running and calmed him down to runs him to the emergency room. When they got there the doctors had to cut the thread off and he had cuts all in/on his neck, and they were deep so they would leave scars.

That's why he covers his neck, he doesn't like to show them because it might scare people, and he also doesn't really like them either

So, yeah :)) 🧍👍

Best Jeanist is a huge fan of shoujo anime and manga. He really likes the magical girl genre especially.

He's taken serious notes on the poses and dramatic appearances of the characters in their fight and transformation scenes in these shows and has incorporated many into his own fighting style. He loves being extra and this just makes everything so much more fun.

Bakugo: I need to prove that I'm the best at everything I do, of course I can write some flowery letters!!

*Several days later, at the nursing home*

Elderly Woman: *reading card aloud to her friends* "Dear Old Person, I hope you don't die anytime soon." What a thoughtful young student - and what absolutely lovely handwriting!
