im not posting on here as much because im just not studying which is very very bad. ive lost sight of my goals and motivations, im putting my hobbies above doing uni work and i need to get back on track before the work piles up, i forget what ive learned and it becomes impossible. so im going to tentatively do a 30 days of productivity challenge on this blog, starting today. ill try to post pictures if i can or just a to do list for the day. it doesnt have to be perfect, i just need to do more than im doing now (which is almost nothing).
goals for the challenge/the rest of the semester:
revise c++ and do some projects to refresh what i know
start self-studying oop in c++
study current courses and prep for exams
day 2/60 of productivity
started lesson 1 of android developers fundamentals
worked out
obviously not a good sign if ive already procrastinated after day 1 but things are hard to do and im trying to be nicer to myself so its fine.
day 8/30 of productivity
a little more calculus and a lot of assembly language 🙄
day 21/30 of productivity
had my calc exam today (horrible awful but it's fine) and I finished the database group assignment- also awful and horrible but ultimately fine. The submission date got moved to tomorrow instead of today and like I've been saying in every post I am soooooo tired. on the right is a cappuccino I bought impulsively yesterday cos I knew id be staying up all night. It didn't do anything for me cos coffee never does but I like to pretend.
day 29/30
I'm feeling less panicked about everything which is good. I went to the library in the morning, hung out with my friends for a little bit, came home and studied all night.
day 11/30 of productivity
revision in bed for my database exam on tuesday. this is rare but because this prof tends to give pop quizzes I've been studying before every class so I'm kinda already prepared for this exam :)
day 30/30 of productivity ❗❗
it took me two months but I did it! 30/30 :) I wish the studying could stop today but i still have a little over a week left till my last final.
day 1/30 of productivity
3 hours of assembly language. first two hours of studying were really hard (I was NOT motivated) but I pushed through and the last hour in the evening was easier :) assembly's fucking awful tho
for loops practice + a linear algebra worksheet I had to do this afternoon.
C++ studying is going well, I'm using Starting out with C++ by Tony Gladdis because it has loads of exercises for every topic.
( 12/09/23 )
day 3 of 30 days of code
functions practice as usual, and structures (they're fun, it's cool to make your own datatype). and i ditched vs community in favour of dev c++ because it was being weird and not compiling some programs and i didn't want to waste time trying to figure it out.
