Now it's available on itch.io. Pre-beta because i'm going to release a beta version on Google Play/Steam in the future
Added victory menu. Now my game is fully playable. I plan to start locked testing of the game soon.
Hi there!
I'm gamedev. I'm developing a turn-based strategy. All sprites and icons for it were drawn by me. I'm not a professional but i hope you'll like them :-)
Buildings:
Attacks icons:
Logos for my game and studio were also drawn by me:
And yes, i like neon colors
I didn't add all sprites because i think that's enough
PS: what does "keep it safe for work" mean?
Edit: why do sprites look so small?
I'd like to know about and follow more artists on Tumblr, so let's do an Art Share!
RULES: 1.- Reblog this post with your art, animations, music, whatever creative thing you do and introduce yourself on it 2.- Keep it Safe For Work (please) 3.- Though it's not obligatory, please consider adding ALT/ID Text to your works! (if it's an image/animation) 4.- If you don't participate or don't do art, please reblog this either way, so it can reach more artists!
I'll go first, I'm Anubi, and I do various pixel art works!
I like your game! Do you plan for there to be a plot, or is it more of a chess style game?
My game is a game without any plot. I want it to be a chess style game with economy elements.
PS: thank you, i appreciate it when you ask me questions. This means you like my game and want to know more about it
I started developing this game in early november. During these two months I managed to do:
Game interface
Build mechanics
Game localization system
For now, the game confirms the word "economy" in its name.
All gameplay at the moment:
My plans for the first half of next year:
Add attack mechanics and confirm the word "war"
Add pause menu
Start alpha game test
Add main menu and settings
Add sounds and ambient music
I'll try to spend as much time as possible developing the game and post to tumblr as often as possible.
Now if you launch the game through web-browser you'll see this window. And there will also be no exit button.
I also changed credits and save button icon. Now "who goes first?" and "... won; ... lost" windows will adjust to players' names sizes.
(yes i know there is a bug right on the video but i'm too lazy to fix it)
Also added new soundtracks:
Both from Not Jam pack
It's pre-beta 2.0 pre-1 (it means i'm going to be releasing pre-beta 2.0 this week!) and i'll post it in my discord server within the next hour (yes this phrase has already taken root)
PS: i'm so happy now because i finally managed to steal gridroad and i'll play it tomorrow (or later) :-})
PSS: is it just me or did come up with a new emoji?
The tutorial is done! It turns out just writing a text and taking screenshots is long and difficult (it took me more than 3 days (including the previous week)). Also added a scrollbar but it only shows progress, i can't use it to navigate the page.
Hi
Now bots can visualize their work (show which cell they select) and take breaks between actions. Also added new settings for bots
I'll post this release (interim-2) on my discord server
Happy New Year!
Now you can drag and drop cursor in text fields
PS: while i was doing it i often regretted i using defold... because it doesn't has nodes ready... it's so scary...
Hi there!
It's summer (wow!) which means i'm not studying. But this doesn't mean i'll develop my game more often because i want to rest like a normal person.
Before the release of 1st interim i spent every day developing to release it as soon as possible. Now i'll rest more but try to maintain a frequency of one post per week.
I also thought i'll learn javascript to create a web-site for my game and multiplayer based on it. But now i realize more likely i'll just rest: walk outside and play games (maybe even read books!).
Have a nice summer and good luck!
I've created the construction menu. But it has a lot of bugs yet. I've also added fps and mem statistics.
