so a bit more info on eusw is that ranger aka our main insane thing, is actually being fostered by the Scott's Warren is a Scott btw he is rangers foster brother we love them being big brother annoying little sibling in this house, and we'll there is two separate trios as well so for trio one is the sanies we have Warren, Jayce, and bonnie all of these three have known each other since they were kids bonnie is trans mtf btw and the second trio is triple ill's this is because ranger, hudson and danielle all met during their stay at a physc ward, its why I mentioned that the group is a bunch of walking flags, and best thing ever is that they are like a found family group I can do so much shit to every one of them

so new wip is called echoes upon shattered windows it's a group of six ppl all six have their own issues and their group name is 'six flags' because its funny to me they all a bunch of walking flags and they in a group of six so I will say more when I get the lore down but until then uhhh weeeeeeeee

so still like drawing the aftg kid oc I've used a picrew to show what he looks like for the moment until the character sheet thing is done cuz I suck ar drawing and am using like a body base for one of thek and just some crappy ass thing I managed to hand draw by using a reference for the pose (I suck at drawing I'm awful at it so don't expect it to be any good)

anon just say you don't know how cults work, like it's not that hard to say just say you don't get how they work its quite simple, if you won't shot on any of the other ravens and only Thea than that's very strange going with she's the only canonical black character,

i wanna agree with you on thea and i understand she went through the raven's cult and i recognize that trauma/experience but she considered, Jean —who was underage when it started— being used sexually and I'm even willing to be she knew he didn't ask for it because she's not stupid and has been in the team long enough, "old tricks." to me that's shitty. And her overall attitude is much too dismissive/demanding for someone that didn't involve herself to help and just get answers to understand a situation she didn't even plan to BE involved with.

She's a fine character, well written for the little importance and screentime given, but she's detestable to me and I cannot respect her beyond "I see you're a survivor and a fine player, for that I respect you."

That and their relationship (hers and Kevins) is the most undeveloped/boring of them so I have a natural bias against them as a couple too but that's obvious now

the nest is a cult. thea was in that cult for five years. thea did not get out earlier, like kevin did. thea was subject to brainwashing and abuse. thea was isolated from essentially anybody who wasn't a raven. thea was 18 when she got there. thea would have known nothing but the nest and become desensitized to the abuse that happened there. she would have looked past and ignored what the master told her to ignore because that is how cults work. that is how brainwashing works.

if you think her attitude is "too demanding" when she wants an explanation for kevin ignoring her for almost two years, read the book again. consider why the only canonical black character in it is "detestable" to you.

THIS those kids are so fucking interesting to me like those four where screwed the moment they were all born, aegon was like most likely an infant when people started to think about him being on the throne instead of rhaenyra like their all so tragic helaena being cursed to know that she and her siblings and children will die is just *chefs kiss* aemond losing his eye due to claiming a dragon agted being bullied for not having one, daeron being sent away to live at old Town not really knowing his siblings all that well but willing to die to protect and avenge his family is just *cries* alicent the mother out living all of her children (and I think grandchildren 2) and hating the colour green, the same colour of the dress she wore to be her own person to defend her children and fight for them

like obviously the team black/team green divide is stupid and missing the point of the dance and like obviously the show is written with a rhaenyra bias but likeeeeeee. HOW can you not be endlessly compelled by how irretrievably doomed the team green kids are. how can you not be intrigued and endeared by how narratively fucked these poor stupid teenagers are. pov: you were born to be a weapon in a civil war started by people who don’t care about you. that is the reason for your existence. you are obviously fated to die young and tragic and everybody knows it. you are a team green kid.
